Already losing 2-0. He's going down as probably one of those worst foreign goalies to grace this league.

Terrible. They declined an extension and lost his job to a 19 year old in the crucial last 4 games of the season. He has a lot to reflect on.
Yikes. What are your thoughts on the Honduran league in general? Is it the strongest of the Central American leagues? What are wages like?
I think it's the strongest as far as level of talent, but as a WHOLE, infrastructure, professionalism, production, etc, it's Costa Rica and then Panama is starting to creep up behind Honduras. Wages are terrible if you don't play for a big team(only 4 teams are "big") or if you're not a real good foreigner..
Could see that, Honduras has always seemed like the "best of the rest" after Costa Rica in Central America. They've had so many high level players over the years. And Panama seems to have the ability to make heavy investments, would love if they helped pour money into the game. Would love for an American guy to come up in one of those leagues.
Well, Costa Rican teams are beginning to poach away the league's better players. Alajuelense has five Hondurans currently on the roster.. Saprissa has one.. He was their leading goal scorer.. I mean both teams leading goalscorers are Honduran.. they said in countless interviews that the level of talent/competition is much more difficult in Honduras, but the fields and the infrastructure and the quality of living is superior in CR. Honduras is a very youthful league, which makes it competitive.

So some Sunday League/Amateur club in New Orleans has announced Justin Perez as their new signing... That's gotta be rough... From Rayados to... Acapulco NOLA FC.
Damn, professionally a downgrade for sure but quality of life...New Orleans is the best city in the country in terms of food, culture, history, cost of living IMO
