The axiom in soccer is that if you win at home and draw on the road, you'll be fine. And that's exactly what Kingston has done. They're currently on a 10-game undefeated romp. But because there's a ********ing professional team in our amateur league, the Stockade won't even make the playoffs this year. Please join me in prayer that the Cosmos team bus bursts into flames on the LIE and the entire team is roasted alive.
Brooklyn Italians basically seal the playoff spot by drawing 9-man Kingston at Estadio Dietz. Congrats to them. Kingston will finish the season undefeated by amateur peers, but will not make the playoffs unless my prayers for the imminent death of the entire Cosmos team are realized this week.
kinda an amusing outcome here: https://www.espn.com/soccer/major-l...P94FPQNxl8Ow7DfDnyZSmbivcTmW_m0qGCnGkAMzkjd4I
Unfortunately, was that decision ever in doubt? I can’t stand how limiting our soccer infrastructure is. I’m don’t think that pro-rel is the answer to our country’s issues, but it would definitely make soccer here a bit more interesting.

Not directly Stockade related, but interesting nonetheless as the owner steps away from his core business: https://dens.medium.com/after-12-years-im-stepping-back-from-foursquare-10c75372123d
That was an emotional rollercoaster. The Dutch Guard and all of Kingston's travelling fans were inspirational. Looking forward to Saturday.
I have tickets for another show tonight but I'm thinking about ditching them and going to Connecticut instead.
