The general Dutch transfer rumours thread

Discussion in 'The Netherlands' started by feyenoordsoccerfan, Dec 20, 2015.

  1. Raiola has been slapped with a world wide transfer ban for three months by FIFA.
Could this mean de Ligt etc. still will be with Ajax until the winterstop?
Donot think Overmars will be very sad about it, if it is so!

Originally it was just a ban by the Italian FA out I understand things. The Barcelona transfer may break down because Raiola wants 20 percent of the transfer fee. de Ligt picked an evil man for his agent. His future father in law would have been s better choice.

  3. Could be a joint action of Ajax and PSV to drive up the price for Steven.
Big clubs might think before Ajax pushes up the price for him after success in the CL, better buy him now from PSV for 40 million:p

  4. Zyech is mentioned in relation to Arsenal. Could be an excellent move for him.

I like Ajax's move for Beegwijn. Looks so Bayern-esque :D. However, I believe PSV won't let him go, especially to Ajax.
I think Ajax should really try to sign Groeneveld instead. Will cost much less than Bergie, and is a far better player than Neres imo.

According to De Telegraaf, if Steven Bergwijn leaves this summer, PSV Eindhoven may look to replace him with Feyenoord winger Steven Berghuis... that would be an interesting move! A tactic to deplete rivals?

I think PSV will/should bet on Malen and Gakpo… both have shown flashes of brilliance this season. They also have Lammers returning from loan. Gakpo could surprise many, I see a little bit of young Adebayor with his fast, long strides and silky move.

On a seperate note, seems like news around Neres' transferring out are heating up. €50 million is the going rate. Very decent sum...

Malen is definitely the one to watch next season and im expectig him to be in the euro squad for NT. He is better than bergwijn imo and could form a good partnership up front with Depay.

The only place PSV needs to reiforce is their midfield and CB.its really disappointing to see hendrix stall when great things were expected from him. I think the player they should look to bring back is juninho bacuna from huddersfield who were relegated from EPL. He was a standout performer for them in the midfield. If they can reinforce the CB and MF areas they will the team to watch next season.

A player with his history of injuries is a dicey proposition. If Ajax can get €6M he probably will move on.

Not if he plays in his prefered position. At fullback yeah you would expect him to be vulnerable. But I liked what I saw him vs juventus.

Anybody has any latest update on marco van ginkel. Last I heard was he had another setback and had to go under the knife for the second time.

Wasn't it Bosz who converted Sinkgraven to a LB?

  13. I'm very disappointed that Obispo hasnot get the chance to make significant minutes. He was touted by many who know their stuff as a lock in future CD. I was hoping, given the lack of opportunity prospect under Cocu, he would go to Feyenoord on a free transfer, but he prolonged his contract. That didnot bring him much, so I wonder why he's being ignored. If you didnot value him under Cocu and now under MvB he's not getting in either, why then the prolongation offer? To safeguard transfer money?

Yeah this is true. Looking back to it, it was a very unsuccessful experiment. All I can see is that a talented midfielder was converted to become a mediocre LB.
I hope Erik ten Hag can revive his career. Perhaps a midfield of Eiting/Marin, Sinkgraven and Donny next season can turn out to be something!

I was hoping PSV would do the same with clasie after his bust up with gio. PSV needs big reinforcent in the midfield. Perieo is departing. Rosarios form has significantly dropped and hendrix, it a shame he is on a noise down trajectory. Southampton has also confirmed they will put clasie up for sale.

Looks like Vaclav Cerny will be moving from Ajax to FC Utrecht.

  17. Not really a rumour. Ludovit Reis on the plane to Barcelona, after being eliminated with Groningen by Vitesse:

Please explain how Malen is better than Bergwijn who always has been an amazing talent. I don't follow. Bergwijn had an amazing season and he is a very consistent player. Malen has great potential but too inconsistent at the moment.

You definitely have not being following then. Bergwijn has faded to somewhat towards the end of the season and you are saying he very consistent player. On the other hand malen has picked up from playing in his shadows and had 5 goals in the last ten games and this also resulted in van bommel pushing luuk back in the middle.

Cant see any top team coming for Bergwijn. Well unless he produces something special in the nations cup.

Its a matter of time players like stengs, bobby adekanye, Chong and groeneveld will start linning up and all this guys are technically better than him.

Adekanye and Chong haven't proved nothing unless bad decisions with their early moves. I like Groenelved and Specially Stengs who I follow a lot. On a whole season Bergwijn was way superior than Malen. I don't agree with that statement.

Nicely said. Bergwijn is the only Dutch player this season finished with double-digit goals (14) and assists (13). Many find “whoscored.com” website does a pretty good job with impartial and accurate ratings. Bergwijn’s score there for is 7.81, which is among one of the highest in league, even better than that of Frenkie and De Ligt. Sure, some may dislike Bergwijn for whatever reason, but to discredit what this young kid has accomplished this season is just simply sad.

I dont think there was any case to discredit him. Simply when Malen surged from being a sub man to regular he looked more dominant simply because the workload was further shared now. This is purely from watching the game perspetive. From overall season performance perspective it would useless to compare both simply because malen has played less minutes but whats important to note here how the tide has changed with van bommel making string of changes.playing luuk at 10 etc. Even with lozano injured they never missed him.

Malen was hitting goals coming of the bench and sooner or later he was going to make his mark and thats what happened. His 7 out of 10 goals came from the bench and after being given the nod by van bommel in the last 4- 5 games he has taken the focus away from bergwijn. I will recommend go and watch AZ and PSV game which they lost.
