I didn't know if they had to have been enrolled at CU and perhaps have been taking courses to be eligible to travel with the team to France. It will make a difference for the individual players and the team if the newcomers are on the trip a they will get to integrate with the group and find a role prior to August.
Yes, they must have attended the previous semester since they can not miss classes for the trip. Not sure how classes line up with the trip but a lot of times schools will plan a trip in the spring (spring break or end of the semester) and have the freshman come in as early enrollees. Or they plan a trip as soon as summer A session ends so the freshman can go. Best for the team to include the newcomers in my opinion.
So far I can confirm Colorado, USC and UCLA are all going to France. USC from June1st-June 11th . They will play 3 exhibition matches vs Professional teams in London and France. All incoming Freshmen and Graduated Seniors were invited.
Uh oh, I might be wrong. Question: Do Stetson and Gardner Webb have funds set up that pay for this kind of trip for its teams every 4 to 5 years?
Does anyone know when and where the games are played? I asked a USC player last week and she had no clue on location or date.
You can dm me and I can share what I know and give updates as they become available. Right now USC has one in London and one in Paris

I am going to attend their first friendly. It is a 15 minutes car ride from my parents house. I used to play youth football against that team at U11-U13 level.
