Scaloni is going around and just pointing at players. “You get a call” “you get a call”

I am not sure what Scaloni is doing? There isn’t a camp that all these players will be called to....our first game is in less than a month; he should be decided on his core team and subs he wants to bring by now.

Hopefully, we schedule another low-key friendly along with the one we have against Nicaragua.

Perhaps he is trying to bring in a new generation and old. See what he has to work with for games after the Copa.

At this point Scaloni might as well just make a list of players he's not calling up

Its amazing how much footage of Diego actually exist even though he played long before internet and cellphone era. It almost looks like there's a drone following him anywhere.

Had to lug these things on your shoulder and slot in a VHS tape. The bottom one, I forgot the MM size, but they were smaller tapes There are a million tapes back home of family vacations, weddings, birthdays and etc. All from the 80s and 90s.

So, I’m sure this is how they got all the archival footage.

I actually had my birthday party at 2 years old recorded on BETA tape, its so old that it was recorded in full colour but when I converted it into DVD few years ago, its becoming black and white.

Many of those Diego footage seems to as clear as today's mp4 lol , really well preserved.

God damn it.. Kannemann suffered an injury in training and it looks like he’ll be missing Copa America

Just when it was looking like we were going to have a solid defense between him and Pezzella :(

What do you know... Tournament time rolls around, key players get injured. Hopefully, he makes it though. It is a back injury, so, who knows what the prognosis is.

As long as it’s not Funes Mori starting, then okay.

The initial prognosis is that he'll be out for at least 6 weeks, which would mean he'll be left out of the tournament squad.

Anyway, what do you have against Funes Mori? Can you imagine him doing this in a final vs. Brazil

    :D

Real talk though, the ones who probably benefitted greatly from Kannemann's injury are Montiel and Foyth, who were on the fringe of the squad but now have great chances of being within the 23.

Not senior NT-related, but man it’s a shame Thiago Almada was left out of the U20 NT list for the WC in Poland. That kid is something special...

That’s a damn shame. But, yes, the kid is crack. I’m not going to lie, it is hard not too get excited seeing such a good generation come up, after a decade of utter shite.

Plot twist. Allegri is leaving. It is rumored that the likes of Poch, Conte and even Pep are candidates to take over. No chance with Pep. Conte is no better than Allegri but Poch will be interesting.

This is pretty special— unfortunately, Diego was practicing his own freekicks rather than training the players in the 2010 World Cup.

He is very special— hopefully, he makes the right choices for his career. I know Man City and Pep are after him.

Pretty sure that footage is on film, which is much easier to upscale to hi def than those camcorder tapes.

Rojo also scored the winner against Nigeria in 2014  , although we dont need to win that game to top the group. If that's not enough, he also scored in 2015 Copa semifinal.

However, he pulled a clumsy challenges against France and Chile which cost us the game. I dont think he should be sent off in 2015 final but still a reckless one from him nonetheless. Both times we're not even in dangerous situation, 0-0 and still about 80 minutes to play.

Hopefully nobody from our team would be imploding like that in this Copa. Well, maybe Rojo if he does get a call up and somehow started.:whistling:
