I’ve been impressed with Memo Rodríguez during the first 45 minutes. He’s been all over the place. Almost scored a screamer and got the hockey assist on the first goal

Kind of hard to say as he was pretty much one of eight DC players sitting in their own box. DC had very little of the ball and miniscule amount in TFC end.

That brilliant scheduling our clueless media were so high on ?

Lotsa tired leg games going into the Gold Cup. DC is going to play 3 games in 6 days!!

Then the talent leaves for Gold Cup making for more less than thrilling games.

    SKC with the CCL hangover.

This is a bad year for MLS. Let's hope they learn the right lesson.

A pass for everybody on DC United. They came in looking to get a point. MIssion accomplished. Toronto had zero legs. Hamid had a WS of 9.7!!! Brilliant saves? None. Nothing but weak shots from Toronto. MLS is clueless. They should give everybody a refund for that game.

What a class goal by Mueller, once again coming off the bench for Orlando, for some dumb reason.

Picked up the loose ball, step over to round the defender, and left-footed wormburner through traffic inside the far post.

Bwana also scored a scruffy one earlier.

Jordan Morris and Jozy Altidore continue to be made out of papier-mache...

Altidore has a heel issue. Morris is out with a hammy. Yedlin is out. Long is probably also out of the GC. Rest might be best for Adams.

    Week 11 tidbits

Perhaps Nick Besler can do an Anthony-Kaye or an Aaron Long, former USL players who
    moved on to MLS excellence.

Saucedo and Baird look to be the starters in RSL; Plata has been relegated to bench and rumored to be transferring to LigaMx. Gotta get minutes to reach that next level.

We should have strength backline of unprecedented strength available for Olympic Qualifying--
LB: Duncan CB: Pines, Trusty, Robinson, McKenzie, Sands RB: Cannon, Arauja, Herrera

Could use more depth at LB. Maybe one of Danilo Acosta, Gutjahr, Nelson, Real, or Foster will step up. Maybe Antonee Robinson will be called in as much of the tournament takes place during a FIFA window, yes?

Jacori Hayes: looks to be back to his stat stuffing ways.

    Wish Blessing were US-eligible now

With Nani out, maybe Mueller will recapture some of his early season form.

Given the hammy epidemic striking the Sounders, Bwana may get an extended run.

Agudelo's WS_8.0 performance was split between right and central midfield.

Looks like ATL is on the rise. They don’t seem to be as dynamic as before but 5 straight shutout wins is a record.

ATL have the best backline/d-mid/depth combo in the league.

Mueller is showing mental strength in keeping his head up and being ready to play, despite having to come off the bench.

I keep liking what I see from the guy. Doubt he gets a call for this tournament, but if he keeps increasing his PT and playing like he has, he will soon.

New manager bounce or not, the Rapids have looked improved under Casey. They need to get a left back as Anderson doesn't look close to being ready for MLS.

I do think it's worth noting that, in spite of a couple wonder goals lately and solid overall play, Roldan has declined as a ball winner/defender since his early years in MLS. He's having a tougher time reading for interceptions, closing down space, and taking players off the ball. So far this season he's combined for 2.9 tackles+interceptions per game. Last season he averaged 3.3, and that was as a wing. Previous season in the middle it was 4.8.

He's young still, but he's an ironman, and plays on turf. Also looks less loose now playing with expectations. Still flashes brilliance and is reliable, for Seattle at least. Gold Cup may be his last major opportunity for a while if he doesn't take advantage.

Could it be that opponents have adjusted, and are playing around him? I don't know; just axin'.

Game dynamics influence individual stats. You just can't simply lock in on a couple of defensive stats to draw those types of conclusions.

I'm watching the games too. It reflects what I see. He's not recovering, around the action a lot, getting into the passing lanes, and finishing off tackles like he used to. That's him getting beat by Mueller on the stepover.

Which doesn't take into account the team's tactics and personnel. And getting half-beaten by one of the more dynamic players in the league. ok.

I think they are looking for other things from Roldan. He's a game winner now, not a gate keeper. He's doing fine.

He doesn't get "beat" he forces Mueller sideways which gives 3 teammates of Roldan the chance to step up on Mueller and they don't do the job. Keeping the attacker in front of you isn't getting "beat" when he doesn't shoot on you.

Casey was always a heady forward. Colorado's back line is toilet paper quality.
