Personally I do not trust Pogba, Isco, Asensio, so Zidane for me has made mistakes

Pogba will be our worst transfer in a decade. I really hope this doesn’t materialize. I hope he goes to Juve or PSG. Anywhere but Madrid.

14 Salidas!!! I am all in for this. If we can plan and execute it. Grande Florentino y Zidane. The way we are doing business early which is totally not the way we usually do it signs towards a revolution as well. Secure the big name targets first and then remove/add the secondary targets.

I wouldn't even mind the team starting slow next season due to the squad renewal as long as we get hungry players in and get rid of the dead weight. It will move the club forward 5 steps in one leap.

I don't know if the player would have any interest in coming back or if Atleti would agree to it. Watching him in a Atleti shirt is going to be extremely painful. Especially considering his family ties to us. Sigh. Why couldn't he be sold elsewhere. Sigh.

Also we are happy giving/selling our players to Atleti but when it comes to buying from them its hell on earth. They even made us sweat for Theo who they didn't rate as much. SMH. I hate that.

Here's my amendment to your squad.

Sell Mariano + Nacho and add 2 players. 1 CB (young prospect) and one midfielder/winger.

I have the ideal name for that AM/wing/SS/emergency MF role but it will require concessions from both player and Zidane. James. He can be a dynamic threat (although doesn't add much energy) off the bench and can start easily in case of injury. It's about time James settles down and finds a home. But Zizou doesn't rate him so this is all fantasy.

Ya.... take Mariano out of that and add a midfielder/winger and young CB prospect and that could be a good squad. It would be Asensio's last chance next season.

They do highlight at least 6 players from the current senior roster plus 4 more in doubt. That's ample space for significant change.

Apart from youngstars87, is there any madridista in their right mind who wants Pogba at Madrid?

I mean i'm no fan of Kroos atm but I'd still take him over Pogba.

When you consider his wages and price tag then this could be the most protested transfer in a long time. No one wants him.

I am not sure why you and others refuse to acknowledge that Pogba is a world class talent - if in your personal view on how you understand the sport, he is not then I get it but disagree.
If the reason is his motivation and disappearing acts when he was in Manchester, why wouldn’t you give him the benefit of the doubt and put some trust hoping that under Zidane he will raise his level an play how he demonstrated that he can at the World Cup.
If his success will only be measured by his price tag, realize that that will never be in his favor, no matter where he goes, because he is not a forward who can change a game all by himself.

I want him. I think he can improve our team over Kroos.
Now his rumored price tag is another topic but on performance alone, yes, I do believe he will make us stronger overall but he is just one piece of the puzzle

Canal Plus started fake RM - Rabiot report. Also Salah's agent laughed at AS when they reported he wants to leave few weeks ago.

Yes I am sure Salah and his agent are discussing transfers right now instead of preparing the final.

Marca cover says Bale wants to say his goodbye to the Bernabeu, but it is unclear if Zidane will call him up or feature him in the final game of the season this weekend.

Sorry but it wasn't fake in the end.

Many people, including CulturePSG admin Goguet that only comments on serious PSG rumors said we approached him. You

I didn't want to believe it at first, but in France, many people confirmed it.

It doesn't mean we are any close to an agreement with Rabiot's crew, but there are/were talks these past weeks/months.

And god I hope it will never ever be anymore serious than that.

Salah sure doesn't, but agents do. They do it all the time, any day of the year.

While many medias can be trash, rumors are not all made up. Even those Neymar's rumors are not all made up.

In France, and in Brazil, many people confirmed we are talking with people close to Neymar since he landed at PSG. It never went very far for a transfer, but there are discussions.

And agents like Neymar Senior, Raiola, and Mendes are famous for that. It's easy to either get a transfer done, or ask for more money.

If Qatar sent millions to Neymar via a QNB sponsoring, it also is because Neymar's clan pressure them when they hold discussions with other clubs (not only with us).

And remember that we even talk with MBappe's family. It was confirmed by people like Molina in France.

Whether it is because he thinks about joining us or to get more money from PSG is up in the air, but WE DO hold talks with them.

Pogba or Eriksen or Van De Beek...
What’s everyone’s opinion on signing Van De Beek? Thoroughly underwhelming if you ask me, I would genuinely prefer Llorente to stay, don’t see a massive ability/potential gap between the two of them.
I can see Van Beek being the second CM signing, but shocked if Zizou or Perez class him alongside Pogba or Eriksen!?!

What's the story with Jovic then? Any possibility of him dethroning Benzema? I just can't see how he would play in the same starting line up with Benz, especially with Hazard and Vinicius/Rodrygo/Brahim. How would that work?

I'd rather have Vini playing with one striker and Hazard. Jovic coming means he's a sub or Vini is hitting bench. That's not exactly exciting.

Can't see formation change as ZZ is too stubborn.

Unless Vin magically fixes his finishing and polishes his final product basically overnight, he is hitting the bench regardless of Jović or not.

We went through a season in which we painfully lacked quality and goals upfront and people complain when we are trying to bring a striker - which we lack, who scores goals from nothing. Fascinating.

Bring Jović, Hazard, Rodrygo. Consider Brahim staying. Ditch Asensio and Lucas. Quality solution which also offers tons of tactical flexibility.

JLS who's most reliable rubbished RM links the next day. Rabiot doesn't look like a priority for any top club.

On a serious note, I think Bernabeu will give a proper farewell if he's called up and comes on as a sub.

Real Madrid already have a top quality forward who scores goals from nothing in Benzema who has been one of Europe's most productive scorers this season despite playing in the worst Real Madrid team for over 10 years. The club would've competed for a Europa League qualification if it wasn't for him.

If anything, Real Madrid are lacking quality & goals from other players.

I actually never wrote I personally don't want him, but I have a lot of doubts.
His motivation is a problem, and it's not liking he is going to play for a low pressure club, he is moving to the most demanding club in the world and after one of their worst season ever. Expectations from him are very high, and how he played in manu don't give me a lot of confidence.
I hope he succeed, for our sake.
BTW, I have no idea how zidane is going to get players like kroos or isco motivated again.
This whole season should be learned in sport management courses in universities on how to not manage a club and how to not sign players.
If Zidane does succeed to bring motivation, then next year should be learned in psychology courses in universities on how to motivate :)

Idk how people watch his performances for Man Utd and think "Hmmm, maybe he'll do better for Real Madrid than he did in a team that specifically made him their centerpiece.". The only reason we're even considering him is because Zidane wants more Frenchmen.

Watch us get him, grossly overpay his wages and then if he flops, be stuck with another unsavory situation like Gareth Bale. Zidane also has a propensity to not drop his French favorites when they have a massive drop in form. I really hope it doesn't become the case when/if Real get him.

Furthermore, he is not a player who rises to the occasion on the club level. He didn't when Juventus made it to the CL final with him. He didn't whenever Man Utd played any meaningful games with something on the line. Heck, look at Man Utd's last few games. He should've done way more to at least give them a chance.

Just because Paul Pogba's exploits with the French natl team are illustrious, doesn't mean he's the player RM needs. Especially given that Eriksen will go for less, has played better for Tottenham and has a contract only until 2020.
