One notable change is that I believe Cameron started at center back today, for the second match in a row. I think QPR had only used Cameron as a midfielder until now.

    Both matches have been losses.

Transfermarkt says his contract at Stoke runs through 2020. I'm obviously not in the know, but I was surprised that he didn't return to the US last summer, and I will be even more surprised if it doesn't happen this summer.

If he could get the money, I imagine he would return.

He is still good enough for the Championship, but probably not for Stoke, if he wants to continue to play in England.

why did they send him on loan anyway? I can't imagine they're so above him now.

I'm not really sure, but I think it was his age and wages. He played really well for QPR when he was not hurt, but I don't think he would have really helped stoke as they struggled to score but they had a very solid defense.

Probably true, but how many 34-year-olds want to subject themselves to a 50+ match season in the Championship, especially after an injury-plagued season?

This shouldnt stop teams from bringing him over. More like the transfer fee and salary it would take to get him.

Could his wages have really been all that high? I mean he came on a free from MLS right?

Well he was playing in the Premier League and generally players that come in on a free get a little more money due to the lack of a transfer fee, but I do not know how much he earned. I think his move was probably more that he was unwanted and they couldn’t sell him, but QPR were desperate so they got a loan for him this season, but this summer he will go some where permanently.

I'd love to see him in Serie A or Bundesliga but probably get few offers from there so maybe another Championship club.

Good deal for him. Looks like QPR play Stoke on match day one. I'll probably find a way to watch that assuming GCam starts.

Watching the championship is pretty easy now. Every game is streamed online.

Most championship clubs use the streaming service iFollow. Some have their own stream service, but it's possible to watch 100% of a championship club's matches.
