LSU has offered the position to a male P5 Assoc. HC. However I believe that has been put on hold due to the LSU AD situation.
or maybe she just wanted to be a HC. Was she going to get the LSU job? Probs not. but maybe is she takes a crap program and makes it better she can get a good P5 job with her background etc...
With a new AD in place, I’ve been told the LSU hire is going forward. Expect an announcement this week.
Pine Bluff just hired I heard, but won't announce until the day he starts which is May 1st. Poor guy coming as the head coach from an NAIA in Texas and only has 7 players on the PB roster. Those 7 tie up five out of his 10 total scholarships for the program. No recruiting has been done for PB for the year. Popcorn ready to hear the LSU hire now.
He was a finalist at Indiana, so going through that process maybe has him eager to make the jump. Do not think it would be a bad hire at all, but not sure it is any type of upgrade.
I've heard multiple very negative comments about him over the years from recruits, past and present players and families (many starters). Many from good friends and people I trust to be honest and zero reason to not be. Could be good on the field though, just don't expect a great environment if he's in charge.

I know it's UAPB and nobody cares, but there must have been no applicants. Winzer's record: 2018: Jarvis-Women (NAIA) 3-13-1, 0-10 2018: Jarvis-Men (NAIA) 1-15-1, 0-10 2017: 2016: 2015: Kansas City Kansas CC-Women 4-10-1, 2-8-1 2014: Iowa Wesleyan-Women (D3) 0-13-1, 0-9 2013: Culver Stockton-Asst Men (NAIA) 3-14-1, 1-6 2012: Centenary-Asst Women (D3) 5-10-1, 0-8 2012: Centenary-Asst Men (D3) 6-13, 2-8 Huge holes in his bio as he claims to have been the volunteer assistant at LA Tech from 2008-2013, which doesn't appear to be true. Also, his job announcements at IWU and CSC list his high school wins at 32 over 3 years not 96 over 5. https://uapblionsroar.com/news/2019/5/6/womens-soccer-winzer-named-head-soccer-coach.aspx
If so, it's definitely odd, as Ball State has been on a very positive trajectory since Roberts' arrival.
