I don't think Stroud is some saviour. Solid player but more of a DM. We are so stuck on the 4-3-3 that he couldn't figure out a way to play both OCC and Pepi? Not that it would change much if you can't connect passes, but we need a formation/tactic change.

Definitely not how we drew up that set piece but it was something.

Busio is such an enigma of a footballer. Adds nothing from the run of play, but produces end product.

Whew, order is restored. 2-2 now, and I'm just slightly less sad about this team.

Double deflection and we are level. Canada has been nervous clearing the ball all half.

    Get in, Alejandre!

What a ********ing finish. T-watted it right into the roof of the net.

I can't think of another American player ever with what I'd call as 'magical' of a foot as Kobe's left. He can do whatever he wants to the ball with that thing.

Gio!! Well in, son. You should’ve been NYCFC player who is so slow it still shocks me every time.

Nice curler by Reyna. Canada's keeper didn't trust his wall enough though, and let it slip in on his post.

I genuinely think the USMNT U17 team is the most creative set piece team in all of soccer. They come up with some pretty good stuff.

Why did Reyna (the captain) get subbed out in the 73rd minute? It's not like we have this thing completely in the bag now.

He hasn’t played club football for a long time. That probably has something to do with it.

I just wanna say that if NYCFC had a USL team, then Scally would've learned not to do his insane sprint in for tackles by now.

Pepi's workrate is insane. Always pressing.

Please don't put Busio on the wing again. He couldn't dribble around a cone, but he sure keeps trying.

Fuentes has looked good since coming on. De Vries not so much.

Fuentes has been good in possession. De Vries has blown a few opportunities. 6-foot-1 Kayo was completely overrun by that Canadian midfielder leading to a shot off the crossbar.

The marking from this team has been really lax/slow in closing down since I tuned in around the 70th minute. Couldn't have been much better beforehand considering they already allowed 2.
