From what I understand he's been a little overhyped to be honest. Not worth starting a war over. Ihattaren choosing Morocco would be worse.

These young players should really look at which Dutch players have really gone on to become world class and how they managed their careers. Look at Wijnaldum and van Dijk right now and the path they took to the top.

They shouldn't be allowed to move until they're 21.

  5. I actually donot care about the leaches that move abroad. I'm just fine with them destroying their future. It's their choice, it's not forced upon them. I was called out to be a racist in a Yank thread when I pointed at the Dutch kids that took those lessons in and stayed put to become players that matter, also helped by their parents with access and understanding the info relating to that.
What I was attacked on was that I pointed at the kids still falling for that lure are the ones from immigrant/refugee origin, with parents not capable of getting to or understanding the info about the disastrous effects going to the epl clubs. Money on offer by the epl clubs for their kids seems awfull lot to them, but in the long run is most likely cutting into future earnings. That distinction isnot made or for them impossible to make out of lack of knowledge/intelligence.
That was racist according to some posters.

I’m shocked that he has stayed there and not moved on, but the money talks.
I’m also kind of suprised he has not played more but I guess they love Ter Stegen who I don’t think is anything special for whatever that is worth.
He has improved in my opinion (Terrible in Euro 2016 Qualifying) and I’m sure taking shots in training from Messi, Suarez, and others really helps, but he needs more games clearly, and that will only help him.

Anybody tracking el ghazi at Villa. He has been in form for the villans as they push for the playoffs. I dont think a NT comeback will be on the cards if he plays in championship but if he returns to lille who are sitting 2 in ligue 1, he might have the chance to prove himself at CL level which could be in the best intrest of both him and NT.

I watched a couple of matches and he's pretty much the same player he was while at Ajax. I don't know whether Aston Villa has a purchase clause in the loan arrangement but they might want to keep him on. I've not seen any Lille matches and can't judge whether he is a good fit for that club. As I've written, Klaassen is playing very well for Werder in more of DM role than he played at Ajax. There is a greater possibility he will be recalled to the NT than el Ghazi. Bazoer also seems to have resurrected his career at Utrecht but he has so many limitations.

Gini is on the bench for Liverpool for the 2nd game in a row. That is not really good considering how important is he for Koeman.

  12. Why? He's having back problems, so resting given the brutal epl schedule is very good news for Koeman.

This was expected.there is nothing wrong with him. It took Keita sometime to find his feet and now he has hit the ground rolling. The midfield will become more crowded when ox returns as well.

Wijnaldum has been their most important and hardest worked midfielder up to this point in the season. He needs the rest as he will be very important if they want to have success down the stretch and in the late stages of the CL. Nothing too crazy, Keita, Henderson and Fabinho are much more fresh at this point because of their relative workloads. It's especially important to note that now that Henderson is being used in his natural role he's been outstanding.

Saw this on the Internet re: Barca-target Ludovit Reis... hope he can be as good as Kante. From the couple times I watched him playing this season, looks like he needs to add more weight and hit the gym really hard. He has nice technique and seems pretty smooth, though. Nonetheless, I am excited for him, I hope he is making the right decision for his future (including wearing an Oranje shirt vs. Slovakia).

All you need to know about Barcelona target Ludovit Reis:

    Age: 18
Position: Versatile CM. Suits a DM or box-to-box role
Nationality: Netherlands born with Slovakian roots
Stats: 45 appearances for Groningen, 2 goals
Similar Player: compares himself to Ngolo Kante

Wijnaldum scored a beautiful goal against Cardiff and was MotM.
...and well deserved. He's the best defender in the world.

  18. Did you read how the goal was "concepted"? Talk about playing soccer with your brains! Cruijff would have loved it.

Vincent Jansen came in for the final 10 minutes in the Tottenham-West Ham match. He had a really good header in stoppage time that was saved off the line. It was his second appearance this season after recovering from the foot injury. Spurs did not add him to their Champions League roster, which I am sure they are regretting now. He needs to leave that club and get on a team where he can play as a starter. I still think he has quality.

  20. Ake was exposed in the match against Southampton. First he gets scored against with a shot through his legs and then he's being beaten in a sudden burst side by side by the attacker.

He was involved in the build up all the three goals. Definitely would have impressed Ranieri

Anybody watched Liverpool vs Huddersfield. I must say even though they got thrashed Bacuna had a good game in midfield.its very unfortunate Huddersfield has been relegated because his talent will be wasted compared to playing in top flight where his trajectory would have shoot off.At 18 I think this would be a good experience for him and hopefully he doesnt get caught up in promotion battle.
