Last of the 5 out of 6 home game stretch. 2 wins and 2 losses in that stretch of four home games so far.

Revs typically don't do well in games they are supposed to win when teams are missing players. Montreal coming off a 3-0 spanking by Philly will be looking to rebound. Montreal is still pretty talented without Piatti. Taider, Urriti, Novillo, Sanga and the youngster Okwankow are pretty decent players. I see the Revs getting 1 pt

    Revs win 1-0
Can't imagine Montreal is any better than the revs on the road sans Piatti.

Lack of imagination on their part, I reckon. They should have thrown a keg of Molson in the back of a bus and hit the road like the rest of us!

I doubt that's going to make any difference - it's about a 1 hour flight - they're probably already here.

I do think that one of the few advantages that road teams have (in any sport where they travel before game day), is that staying over in a team hotel avoids a lot of the distractions of living at home (crying babies, families that want attention, drinking buddies, friends who want favors, ....) and worrying about getting to the team charter on time.

In some places the home team does that too, for the sake of team unity. Years ago I went to a game at Eintracht Frankfurt, and since earlier in the day I had driven all the way down to Kaiserslautern only to find the game cancelled due to snow, I stopped by Eintracht to see if the game was on for the next day, since my hotel was less than a mile from there.

I pulled in to a parking lot and walked toward the stadium. I realized later it was the players' lot, since there were a lot of Porches, high-end BMWs and Audis. My Opel sub-compact rental definitely looked out of place. The players were walking out of the stadium on to a waiting bus, ready to take them to a team dinner and hotel for the night. The game wasn't until 5:00 the next day, about 24 hours later.

I figured while I was there, I might as well check out the stadium. The gates were rolled up and vendors were carting in food, so I knew the game would be on. I walked in anyway and went out to the stands. There was no one around, so I went down to the field and stood on the edge of the field. The grass was like a golf course, which was especially impressive since we were about 2/3 of the way through the Bundesliga season in late winter. I was taking it all in, imagining what it might be like to play a game in a place like that, and then some guy with a rake came up to me and said something in German. All I could come back with was a "Tchuss!" as I hopped back over the rail into the stands and the exit.

I know this is the norm in the NFL as well, but not sure what other leagues do it.

how true this is I don't know but I saw this posted on the MLS site
"Anxious to see how Mtl responds to their travel nightmares to get to Foxborough. They sat in a plane for 5 hours yesterday only to have their flight canceled. Then, their charter took off 3.5 hrs late at 1h30pm for a 7h30pm same day game!!!" this was posted 16 mins ago. They may still be in the air

I'm expecting a 0:0 game, so I have Bush and Cropper as my fantasy GKs, which means it will probably end up 3:3 or something...

Montreal actually asked for the game to be rescheduled, but were told no by MLS.

Should probably be 2-0 Montreal. Zero offense generated so far although Montreal seem to be bunkering a bit

Montreal is missing five starters they are beating the Revs to every ball. Did I mention that I hate Agudelo's game? Well I do

Agree on 2-0. Do we have any offensive plan at all?

Unbelievable. 3-0. Could have easily been 5. No shots on goal. Even Brad and Paul aren’t able to spin this disaster of a team.

To quote an Adam Sandler movie ......"Oh no, we suck again"
I turned it off at 1-0 and less than 10 minutes to go.

This is the worst Revs team Ive ever seen. There is no way any coach can spin this straw into gold. Nothing... there is no hope. BTW, BF picked them. There is no reason to go to a game this year
