fulham - fossey, de la torre

    werder bremen - arjo - sargent -

    hannover - gloster, wood, soto

    hobro - sabbi, cappis

    eintracht - chandler, mason judge

The guys ahead of him in Chelsea, David Luiz, Rudiger and Christiansen.

Luiz is on his last legs and was probably a better #6 given his passing. Rudiger is a bad day at the races for me, but he is physical enough and just good enough. If Christiansen were from the US, he wouldn't play. If Miazga were italian or african, he would get a look.

Just have to keep pounding away one player at a time until US players get the chances other countries seem to be handed.

Well if the internet is anything to go by, he'd get millions of looks if he were a black pole.

Just going by the scoreline, 1-1 final, Miazga playing from start to finish. Went ahead just after HT, then conceded midway through the second half. Shots were 16(7) to 8(4) against, possession 67/33 against. Disappointing after leading, once again, but another useful point on the road (@ #6 Bristol City), and further from danger. Four matches to go - hosting #4 West Brom next, on Monday.

    assuming of course that MM is solely responsible;

Reading before Miazga - 23 points from the first 28 games (0.82 per game), -12 GD, 22nd in the table, 1 point free of 23rd.

With Miazga - 22 points from 15 games (1.47 per game), -4 GD, up to 19th (Milwall with a game in hand could jump above them), 5 points clear of relegation with 3 to play.

The Reading fans wish they could keep him. That's high praise.

Lampard signing, they've been buddies for ages. He moved to the Rams on January:

    https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/46938485

"He's a fantastic player, a quality left-back, and he also brings great experience to the dressing room," Lampard told the club website. "I know him very well from our time together at Chelsea, and with England, and I also know what he can bring to the group and the influence he will have.... I've made my feelings known over the last couple of days just how highly I think of Ashley and I have no doubt whatsoever he will be a positive addition to our squad."

Reading were forced to make two injury subs in the first 15 minutes.

The Championship season, particularly at this stage, is cruel. They really should hack the individual Football Leagues down to 20 teams and add a 5th-tier pro league at the bottom. There's no reason for any teams to participate in multiple cups (3 for League 1 and 2) and also have a 46-game league season.

I thought the 5th tier was professional.

It is mostly professional, but at least two clubs are semi-pro: Braintree and Maidenhead. there may be others.

Just move all the Welsh clubs to the Scottish leagues. They need more warm bodies.

    Not almost. They are safe.

they haven't mathmatically clinched but it would take someting wild to get relegated.

Rotherham is the last team in the relegation zone. Reading are six points clear of Rotherham with two games to go.

Even if Reading lose their last two and Rotherham win out, Rotherham would also have to make up a 13 goal differential deficit.

Reading are staying up and Miazga was a big part of it.

Yep. Six points diff with Rotherham with 2 games left, but Reading has -16 to their -29 GD. They're safe.

anyone can post or share what fans or media are saying about Miazga?

Any chance he might get another loan with Reading or actually bought?
