I honestly thought that 4-0 was possible. And so far, I am wrong by 8 goals.

The Monterrey games completely destroyed this team’s confidence, skill, and cohesiveness. We still haven’t recovered from that debacle. I never want to play CCL again.

    Also:
    - Croizet is complete crap and the end of his contract can’t come soon enough
    - Barath is having an utter shocker
    - Neither Ilie nor Gutierrez is showing the quality they used to have and haven’t for most of the year
    - Zusi is getting old before our eyes. Has had more bad games this year than good
    - Melia isn’t the brick wall he used to be

Or are we 2019 version of Seattle, it's a long season.

*I say this with complete frustration tonight.

Right. SKC have a history of strong finishes. Sporting Fit and what not.

That absolutely should have been called a penalty against Abdul. Same amount of contact that Jungwirth had on Rowe.

We also have a history of "poor" starts (where this is our second loss of the season).

Really stands out when neither Besler or Fontas are on the field.

Unfortunately, 1st string and 3rd string (maybe 4th as well) are all injured, so Croizet the 4th or 5th string LB is on the field.

It’s gonna be a long plane ride home. Time for PV to crack the whip on these guys.

After last week I assumed you'd go back to the "2nd string" at least from a comfort level for the back line. But when you're in PV's doghouse it's hard to get out.

I wanna restate this from a different aspect in terms of comfort on the back line. Croizet looks out of sync. Being out of sync leads to that goal that's highlighted in the above tweet, and the goal last week as well.

i'd imagine that's what he did at halftime and they repaid him by lying down 13 seconds into the half.
i want to be in the ccl every year. i just want it to be managed by our club intelligently. we shot ourselves in the foot multiple times (which was a shame after such a promising start with the top-quality preparation with the altitude tents 'n' all), and those wounds are compounding themselves now.

if hasler doesn't start over zusi next game, i don't want to hear shit from vermes. if he's gonna claim to be holding players accountable for their play, then zusi needs to get ready to start picking splinters out of his ass.

Last five games. 2 pts from three league matches against teams below the playoff line and 10-2 beat down in CCL. Injuries, fatigue, heads down looks a lot like Toronto post CCL.

I put more faith in Vermes to turn things around than Vanney, but you've made up your mind (and have for a fairly long time now) so nothing I say will make a difference.

I am not optimistic that Zusi will ever get better. He may be done. Lindsey’s injury is really going to hurt now. Our back line is in shambles.

Vanney has as many MLS Cups, more Supporters Shields and has gotten Toronto further in CCL.

And missed the playoffs last year with arguably the best player to ever play in the league.
