Eriksen and Pjanic "wait" for Madrid if Pogba fails https://www.abc.es/deportes/real-ma...drid-si-falla-pogba-201904140114_noticia.html Author wrote Didier Pogba.
Pass on Pjanic for me. Decent player but you take our current defensive woes and he’s basically those things rolled into one player. Not the right fit.
Went missing? I will never forget how he set up Morata to score the goal which knocked us out. We felt his presence then. Especially considering he missed the first leg.
That's not even Valdano's brightest moment. This is somebody that pretty much said that Messi is better injured than any other player in the world (including Ronaldo) is healthy. When he likes a player, he's perfect. He said about Valdano if you have him in your midfield, you can rest easy and never need to worry about anything.
not much to talk about, this pretty much sums it all. We have two equally good targets on both midfield and striker position, which means we have both A and B options, looks like an easy sucessful summer
Yeah I don’t get the Pjanic rumors. Good player, one I’ve always liked, but nothing to get excited about IMO. Just a bunch of BS.
My guess is we're not buying midfielders. Everyone stays only Bale and Kova are sold. We'll buy a striker (let's say Jovic) and a star player, someone who can get things done one on one (Hazard is the easiest choice). A CB is already signed and I don't think Zidane needs more then the two I mentioned above. That would be net spend roughly 150 million € which sounds reasonable considering the circumstances. Neymar Or Mbappe, that's a pipe dream. I don't think we're even looking at Pogba. It is wasted money unless we sell someone who has some value (Isco or Kroos) to help finance the transfer.
Courtois Carvahal Ligt Militão Regulion Casemiro Pogba Felix Hazard Jovic Vinicius The above is just very wishful thinking but, on a serious note, looking at our squad for this game, I would get rid of most of them this season. K. Navas - Good keeper and would be okay with him being our #1. Stays. D. Carvajal - Crap season but one of the best on this day. Stays. R. Varane - Doesn't want to be here, sell and get De Ligt - Out Nacho - Can play along the back line and is content with the bench - Stays Marcelo - Has had a good run. Time to cash in now - Out Casemiro - One of the best on his day - Stays L. Modric - Old and wants to leave - Out F. Valverde - Stay M. Asensio - Don't think he'll ever make it here - Sell if we can get an replacement G. Bale - Useless. Cash in now. - Out Isco - Don't think he's that good anymore. Weight problem and attitude towards Solari shows he's not serious - Out Vázquez - Good worker and adds an option FROM THE BENCH - stays K. Benzema - Can't be our number #1 striker next season. He can stay but we need someone better D. Ceballos - Needs a fair run in the side - stays J. Vallejo - Injured too much - out L. Zidane - Don't care M. Llorente - Needs a fair run in the side - Stays Á. Odriozola - Quite impressed so far - stays
To make the transition from this era to the next as quickly as possible, we're going to have to be willing to make some seriously brave decisions regarding player sales. In my opinion all these guys should be on the potential chopping block: - Marcelo - Isco - Asensio (loan?) - LV - Bale - Varane - Mariano - Nacho That's 8 players. Any chance we can really change the squad this much in one summer? How realistic would that be?
Players I would get rid of Varane for De Light - Kroos for Eriksen Isco & Asensio for Felix Nacho for another all round defender. Bale for Hazard Marcelo Mariano ..... Get another forward - Cavani? Mandzukic?. to fill a temporary gap .. Felix can become the long term #9 replacement.
Revised list: SELL: Marcelo, Kroos, Bale, Isco, Nacho, Mariano, Kovačić, James, RDT, Lucas LOAN: Asensio, Vallejo, Ceballos

To me, who Zidane is playing right now and who isn't playing is telling us a pretty good idea who is going to stay and who isn't. In defense, Reguillon isn't seeing the light of day, Marcelo is getting all the playing time. Modric, Casemiro, Isco and Kroos getting the vast majority of the time in the midfield, and Valverde getting the most run out of the youngsters. So you can expect Modric, Isco, Casemiro, Kroos, plus Eriksen/Pogba to be our midfielders, with Valverde as insurance. And upfront, Bale and Brahim are frozen out in favour of Asensio, and even Lucas seeing less time than usual, so I don't see Asensio going anywhere. Seems Llorente, Ceballos, Reguillon, and Bale are going to be off on their way.
Llorente is by far the best and most useful out the bunch, but he's also the oldest. Valverde impressed me a lot in preseason, but I haven't seen much out of him during the season.
Perez promised Zidane and said it in public. He is not going to eat his words, is he? I don't think he meant Eder Miltao only. At least, he will buy Hazard.
