Wayne Rooney was sent off after almost broking the leg of one of Carlos's teammates. Pure frustration. MLS was enthusiastically billing this as Rooney versus Vela, and it turned out to be no comparison. It was all Carlos.
Carlos Vela is not showing us his best level in @MLS .. He’s actually coasting. 🕯 #ElTriEng #LAFC #TwoOnTri @SebiSalazarFUT @ESPNFC #CharlieCandle https://t.co/lAYhUbC7s9— herculez gomez (@herculezg) April 11, 2019

Carlos Vela en la presente MLS con LAFC:✓ 8 goles.✓ 5 asistencias.✓ 7 partidos.✓ Líder de goleo.✓ Líder de asistencias.✓ Más ocasiones de gol generadas. SU PROPIO SHOW EN ESTADOS UNIDOS. pic.twitter.com/y1XE3nAXow— Invictos (@InvictosSomos) April 14, 2019
Barca probably drooling at the thought of having Vela instead of Badteng... Such a stupid decision to get him over Vela. Who knows, maybe Vela would have impressed and even stayed in Barca. It's too bad he never got the chance.
Barça got cheap. LAFC told them where to go. But honestly, I don't think Vela really wanted to go anyway. He's happy where he is.
Nah, people forget how bad Vela's last seasons with RS were and how uninspired he was, dominating MLS means nothing at the world stage, look at Miguel Almiron, the guy is looking like shit in the EPL after being the best player in MLS last year, as talented as Vela is he would have struggled hard if he returned to La Liga if his mindset wasn't about getting back to top form after a year playing against college kids.
That's the point. It's all about inspiration. Vela wasn't in it at his last season at la real, didn't even score goals until his farewell game. Vela was inspired in the world cup ,gave it his all vs his brazil. Him going to Barcelona would at least give him a different challenge. Vela needed something different than being in the same club for years
He was hurt that last half season plus coach wasn't giving him much playing time as he was on way out. I agree with you but not la real time at end

Es el futbolista que más regates (23) ha completado. Y tiene a LAFC como puntero de la competencia. El show de Carlos Vela en USA.
