According to Red Bull Live, "Adams has adductor problems" --which can be classified either as thigh muscular problems if in the lower adductors, or as a groin pull if in the higher ones. https://rblive.de/2019/04/08/yvon-m...ndzerrung-im-knie-aus-gulacsi-marius-mueller/
This kinda seems like the old CP argument about him staying or leaving when he was an every game starter. Sure, it would be cool to see Adams playing for a top 6 EPL squad, but would he start? And aside from that, is there really another team he should go to? Leipzig kinda seems perfect for him right now. He'll get CL minutes next year, and consistent playing time. The next summer would make much more sense if he's still playing the lights out.
Not sure if this has been posted already, but there's an Adams interview posted on RBLlive.de (what I assume is the official team website)? In the article, Adams says that a return for the Wolfsburg match this upcoming weekend is "possible." Tyler Adams: 'I hate to lose. With a clear "I hate to lose," Tyler Adams announces in an interview with the LVZ . Good for the winter newcomer that he was so far in no RB defeat on the court. RB Leipzig scored 19: 1 goals when Adams was on the pitch, as an analysis at rotebrauseblogger.de shows. With the midfielder in the starting eleven are seven wins and a draw in the RB balance sheet. (It goes on from there). https://rblive.de/2019/04/09/tyler-adams-rb-leipzig-ich-hasse-es-zu-verlieren-diego-demme/
If I ever become a big-time pro athlete I'm going to end every interview with "but I'm cool with losing too. It's just a game." Folks will love that.
Leipzig is great for him. But the rest of your post is a bit wild. He’ll never be bought with a guaranteed spot because he’s too good. He’s at Keita level. He’s not at random dickhead loanee from Barca. When you prove yourself worth a lot, you end up bought/loaned by clubs who can pay a lot. If you can’t keep up, eventually they decline you. I feel good about what happens to Adams because there’s literally nothing that will Eff him up. Short of physical injuries.

I think it's a reasonable question to ask whether RBL should play him at hybrid RB if it's shown that that position maximizes his potential. NYRB had him at RB as well.
The idea that New York regularly used Adams at right back needs to ********ing die already. He played there exactly 0 times in 2018. Even when he was used out wide (in 2017, emphatically not 2018), he was primarily a wingback in a back 5, not a pure right back.
Adams out for the weekend, expected to start training with the team next week as per Rangnick: https://www.ligainsider.de/tyler-adams_14025/hoffnung-auf-einstieg-naechste-woche-267644/
I agree with you but there are posters who feel that it's not even a topic for discussion if he should play anything other than DM for his club team. the key question is what position best utilizes his strengths while maximizing his weaknesses. this assumes that he's a difference maker rather than a cog for RBL.
I'm just tired of bitch ass N&A trolls spreading the toxicity to Yanks Abroad. If it's a legitimate possibility with RB then fine, but it's not because they run a different system.
Albeit a small sample size, he has been a difference maker playing exactly where is! Why would anybody look at anything different for him when he is showing to be damned near world class at what he is doing.
The guy is one of the highest rated DMs in the Bund and some of you want to move him to a space where he doesn’t get the ball as much.....my goodness
Plenty of arguments against but this is probably not one of them. Adams had 116 touches playing the hybrid RB against Ecuador which is the most by a US player in over 3 years,
Lol, we should base everyone’s long term potential off of a game against Ecuador and ignore a champions league team
And we shouldn't base what will be the main position of a player based on one game, either. Especially since the coach didn't sound married to the idea and just wanted to check it out.
While leaving acres of space on that right side. Thank goodness it was an uninspiring Ecuador B side. Any decent first team would make a meal out of that game plan.
