I'm *really* looking forward to CP playing with and learning from this guy: 1115335454822412290 is not a valid tweet id
Well, this was aspirational; but is it that set in stone? I thought it was still mostly rumors from RM; is it considered likely?
Because of the ban Chelsea has put a £100,000,000 tag on Eden, but since Real Madrid desperately needs him, with Bale looking a total failure in becoming a leader of the team, they're ready to deal. In fact, Real agreed so fast to Chelsea's transfer price and Eden's salary demands, that now Hazard is adding conditions: he wants Real to get Jadon Sancho too, so he has a winger he trusts to work with (big slap in the face to Bale, who's unlikely to stay long in Madrid if Hazard gets his way). https://playingfor90.com/2019/04/08/eden-hazard-zinedine-zidane-star-player-real-madrid/
Not a good thing when players start to run the club. If I was Real I would say to Eden: suck it up yours.
Very Lebron like, and I hate that stuff too. Players bigger than programs are not something I'd strive to obtain if I were running a club.
I don't understand why anyone would want to play for RM, other than the money part. It is not fun to play with teammates that you do not like, or even despise as a person.
I can see that as a problem not just with Real, but with any of the top clubs. Ever dealt with a 20-something with a lot of money? As a rule they tend to be terrible people to have around.
It could be. What has legs is that Madrid is indeed going all in for the two of them. Although Barcelona, Bayern, Liverpool and United seem to also be going for Sancho. Dortmund is going to get a ton of money for that kid. https://www.caughtoffside.com/2019/04/08/jadon-sancho-real-madrid-transfer-with-chelseas-hazard/
BVB without Sancho and Pulisic will be pretty vanilla. They will get a fair bit of money for the two together, but they really got lucky with Sancho and will struggle to come up with a replacement at any fee.
I read they were in for Hazard the younger for CP replacement, which could be a good bit of business. He certainly wouldn't cost 60M pounds.
Pulisic hardly plays anymore so really it's Sancho that will be the big loss. I agree they will be vanilla, but they always seem to reload.
So without the kid from Hershey BVB is all vanilla... If only they sign a Mexican starlet instead life will truly imitate rhetoric...
(Just to be clear and avoid any OT derails due to folks missing my often limited humor - Pulisic, being from Hershey ie. chocolate, and Mexico, being home to the vanilla-producing orchid was the mildly amusing - at best - quip in my post. No disparagement of Mexico or PA (ex-)Amish country intended! Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.)
Just having him there to push others in practice is worth a lot!! He may be making all those that play in front of him that much better. Where will they get that kind of motivation without him?
