And following a surprise start the next game, Clint subsequently never played for Hannover's first team lineup again, finally transferring to RSL a few months later.

Didn't LD pee on the corner flag? Bease filled a water bottle on the bench... (I can't believe I know, much less am typing this)

Bease and Edu each had some "interesting" moments in Scotland.

Also, Reyna going to Fulham (I think) getting his snap taken with the jersey, then driving to Sunderland to sign on with them instead...

Does it count as a moment when Jonathan Carlos Elliot (sp?), of "Yank at Torino?" fame, got a "trial" with the Fire?

He needs to write an autobiography to list why in the world he would do something like that. As long as you're scoring, people put up with diva or douchey behavior. But once you stop scoring...

No, he just peed on some grass. It happened to be sacred grass (not in a good sense) at Azteca stadium.

Cole Grossman suffers a concussion after he was getting ready to sit down for a television interview and a teammate pulled his chair out from under him - causing him to fall backward and hit his head. He ended up retiring later that year.

Donovan getting a six match ban for something he said to a ref playing for Leverkusen's second team. Hard to find info on this, but it's referenced in this article: https://soccherblog.com/2014/05/26/ld-jg-cyclical-nature-of-sports-stars/

In an interview from 2000, he thinks he didn't get a chance with the first team due to the suspension. Complete conjecture on my part, but perhaps he sticks it out in Germany if this doesn't happen.

An inebriated Boaz Myhill steals a taxi after breaking curfew with some West Brom teammates - Jake Livermore, Gareth Barry, and YA enemy Jonny Evans - outside a fast-food restaurant in Barcelona.

6 matches for something they thought he said? even breaking someone's leg might only warrant you a few matches suspension.

I've heard too many reports not to believe that there's some bias. The account of the guy going drinking, he didn't go alone, but only he got punished. I remember all that from the old Usenet days, but even now I hear a rumor from time to time.

Also, Shea was not the one who put the pig's head in Kenwyne Jones locker, that was a group of the other guys, including the one who got his windshield smashed (Whelan). What happened is that after Jones threw the head out, Brek found it and started fooling around with it.

Brek was just starting, didn't know any of the rivalries and group politics at Stoke. But he got the brunt of the punishment because it was his picture that made the incidents going on in the locker room known to outsiders.

Basically, posting those pics, Brek broke bro code.

I'm particularly fond of this as I believe Boaz is the only "YA" I've ever "discovered."

This is not the craziest, but I liked following Jonny Walker just because I knew nothing about Chilean league footie. (The whole interview is good.)

On moving from UdeCatholica to Colo Colo:
"Absolutely. My first press conference at Colo Colo was disrupted by members of La Barra who were screaming that they didn’t want the “mother ********ing gringo from Catolica” amongst other loving phrases. The press ate it up. It wasn’t easy, but fortunately I won them over with performances on the field. We had the Superclasico against Universidad de Chile and I turned in a good performance and received man of the match honors. After that game, they supported me 100%. Ironically, I would face Catolica in the semi-finals while playing for Colo Colo. The fans who had loved me for four years did an about face. 20,000 Cruzado fans singing “Gringo, Gringo Concha Tu Madre……. En San Carlos(Catolica's stadium) le damos a comer”. Translated “Gringo, ******** your mother…In San Carlos we gave you food (or we fed you)."

Did Beasley throw or get hit by a clog while drunk on a tram or something like that? Now I have to go search... sigh...
