I may be being greedy. I'm definitely impatient. For 2020 our only known ranked recruit is Kaitlyn Zipay is #118 down from 116. Freaking Clemson has 2 top 25 recruits. C-L-E-M-S-O-N!!!! has 2 top 25 recruits. Come on! Duke has 3 Virginia has 3 and UNC has 2. You can make a case for them, but Clemson with 2 and VT with 1 in the top 25? Has water ceased being wet? Is the sun rising in the west? Lia Godfrey from Fleming freaking Island Florida (Jacksonville) is going to UVA.
I am pretty sure one of the Jax area club coaches has strong connections to UVA, they have nailed the top Florida player more than a few times. On the other hand, Picketts dad is a top coach up there too.
Easy, EASY. Take a few breaths and go watch some past FSU matches. You're definitely jonesing for the NOLES.
Don't worry about those rankings. The Noles will be loaded. There will be internationals TDS doesn't know about, and there will be excellent players who are outside the youth national team system. TDS, understandably, over-rewards for YNT experience/good DA club etc, even if nobody really watched the kid play. Conversely, you have someone like Tziarra King at NC State who didn't even play ECNL and is one of the biggest individual threats in the conference, and you can bet nobody at TDS had ever heard of her.
Just looking at 2021 class on TDS. 90% + committed already. Too early IMO. Our lone known commit is the Kansas girl Horton #24 on TDS. That's good. She's listed as a forward. What I found interesting is the 25th ranked recruit is a forward from Rowlett Tx committed to Alabama. That is where Kaycie is from. Wonder if we weren't interested. Was the Bama coach (formerly FSU) involved with recruiting Kaycie here? Just curious! I'll default to trusting Mark. It just seemed a natural "in" with a player from Kaycie's hometown, especially just after winning a natty!
Couldn’t find it either but as usual the Noles are loaded once again! Should be a fun team to watch in 19!

She is a good player and I would say a key player. Not sure if she would have started, but she was a bit of a Swiss army knife, plug in kinda' player. Where is she going?
My understanding is that a college player puts her name on a transfer list and then entertains offers, assuming that she had not already decided a choice in advance. I also have gathered that the coach also may assist in finding a new home for a player who is leaving. I also believe that the ACC has a rule not allowing in-conference transfers. (But I could be mistaken about any of this....)
Her playing time certainly diminished last season, if she does, I wish her all the best! I think AP was a part of a wave of youth England national team members that came over the same year, so she has friends at different colleges all over the US.
FWIW, I checked the TDS transfer page. No mention of an outbound FSU player. However, I did see that Molly Rouse has transferred from Louisville to Central Florida. So it wouldn't shock me if Anna ended up there too (with a familiar roommate.) And.... I am wondering what the definition of "transfer" is? I was surprised to see on the transfer list that Nichole is "transferring" from UNC to Liberty. Nicole was a local walk on at UNC in 2015. A real nice and smart kid from all accounts. Got 24 minutes in two games in 2015, no time the next year, and 36 minutes in her junior year. This year she had 226 minutes in 13 games off the bench and at the last home game of this, her senior year (no mention of red shirting on the roster), she was feted as one of the graduating seniors (on the honor roll to boot.) So the sophomore year with no minutes apparently left her with a year of eligibility and with a UNC degree she is going to Liberty as graduate student. Is that really a "transfer"?
Anna is a very good player. Except for when a starter was off to age group or NT duty, she was first off the bench for us. She is/was a key player for us. I could certainly understand if she wants to be a starter and get big minutes. If that's the case, good luck to her. Mark typically helps reach out to other Universities to help girls who want to transfer. At least, that's what I've been told.
It’s time for me to go play pro. The question is where should I go? Any recommendations 🧐? Looking forward to this new journey ⚽️⚽️🥅🥅 Thanks for your continued support. Let’s do this 💪🏻💪🏻— Deyna Castellanos (@deynac18) April 1, 2019 Denya gone?
