If you really have to, yes, of course. I just find it completely uninsteresting personally. He could score 30 goals easily if he wants.
Also tbh I highly doubt his team is better than Portimonense. At best he has 3-4 temmates who are better..

Btw, I checked his Transfermarkt, and I guess he's going to play for the B Team (4th div). But who knows, good luck to him to climb the ladder

Come on. He played for a at best small and mediocre team in Portugal, and everyone knows that the gap between the top 3-4 teams and the rest in Portugal is gigantic.

He's going to play for what is the best team in West Asia, home of several of the reigning Asian Champions and will have a couple of top level foreign players alongside him too. And it's for the team that totally demolishes Al Ain both home and away, which is the same Al Ain that beat River Plate in the Club World Cup. I think we all agree that River Plate is better than Portimonense, right?

I mean, Portuguese Segunda level players like Jadson or Pedro Sa are examples of the players that he played alongside (regular starters both of them..) with in Portugal....

I know that most people on this forum are very pro Europe, but I think you're very wrong here.

And 30 goals? He's not even an all-out striker and he's only scored 29 goals throughout his entire career so far....

Jackson Martinez meanwhile scored between 20 and 26 goals in each of his full 3 seasons in Portugal but failed miserably everywhere else...

The gap is not any different than the likes of Bayern Munich to any mid-table Bundesliga team honestly (proportionally speaking), especially this year where Portimonense has been much better than last season (could agree that the "old" Portimonense was pretty bad). They've beaten Benfica 2-0 last month and Sporting 4-2 at home this season.

Genuine question, what makes it the best team in West Asia exactly?

Aside from the fact that I think South American teams are generally way overrated, by the same logic Persepolis, a team that doesn't even have any quality foreigner whatsoever, is better than Al-Dulahil (and River Plate) because they beat them in a continental competition. I don't think that's a good logic, sorry.

They're likely better than 70% of the Al-Dulahil squad imho... :/

I'm not "pro-Europe" by any means, but the gap is still there. The Aspire Academy\Qatar NT project is one (impressive) thing. The level of the local league is another. That's how I feel.

This season's Qatari league top striker , the completely unknown Baghdad Bounedjah, scored 29 goals in 15 matches.
29 goals. In 15 matches. Let that sink in a moment.
Jackson Martinez has failed in China and not Qatar, and him failing doesn't mean anything, considering he's always been a beast in Portugal and Champions League. I can imagine, how much he cared.
Last season's CSL top scorer, Wu Lei is not better than Jackson Martinez.

Portimonese have lost four in a row without Nakajima and scored only one goal.

Most, if not all of the money from Nakajima’s transfer, will go into the agent’s pocket.

"Where is the Japan no.8 playing?" My teammate asked me. I get that different people have different reasons for playing soccer but it'd be nice to see Nakajima play in a higher level league.

The key to play well at NT level is to play well and constantly improve himself at club level.

Nakajima improved as a player since going to Portugal, but playing in Qatar will not help him to improve and his market value will decerse. Hence, the sooner he gets out of Qatar the better it will be for him and the NT.

Let’s hope the PSG link is real.

I also want him to play in a better league of course, I just meant that at least its something that he plays good on the NT.

Playing in a lesser league is all well and good if you're 33 years old and trying to prolong your career instead of playing 45 games a season in top level European football.

Nakajima had a shameful disparity tonight in ACL against Shiotani’S team, Al-Ain.

He seems careless and not putting any effort and barely did anything positive or involved in the team-play.

And more importantly, how did Caio play? ...just kidding. Don't care too much about him.

Has Nakajima been playing with no fire in general, or is it an exception to this one match? Also, didn't Nakajima's team loose against Xavi's team recently?

Wow that’s shameful ... He needs to be punished harshly and sent down to the satellite team established in Paris.
