Born in Haiti, but adopted at a young age, was part of the Belgian U18-U19's and made his debut for Anderlecht this season. Honestly it sounds like he'll be playing for Belgium in a few years.
Against Costa Rica? More like 30-40%...but if we can get past them, then anything's possible in the final round.
That's tough unless he's extremely special. Breaking through for Belgium is about as tough as breaking through for France. Not saying he's not good enough, but like France, you're bound to tell some very good players No. If he's that good, he might become a real asset for Haiti down the line. I imagine if he's not capped by Belgium at 21ish.. he'll be gone to Haiti unless Haiti is on a severe decline which I don't think they are. long story short, I don't think he'll find playing time for Les Diables Rouge due to their high concentrating levels of creating elite level talent.
Guerrier and Mustivar play for clubs in Azerbaijan. I wonder how many national teams have multiple players in Azerbaijan. Qarabag is in the Europa League Group Stage.
Can't wait for the Cuba game. Cuba needs a tie or even 1 goal lost can get them in the top 6 spots.. So they're going to play for a tie.. Haiti will take care of them at home and finish with 12 points in the top 6 and a Gold cup spot and league A .. so that we can start entertain teams like USA and Mexico at home and away next year
...then again, a tie puts both of us officially in League A, since none of the teams outside of the top 6 would be able to catch us. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather win too

That's bad reporting - USSoccer has no authority to block anyone from accepting a call-up from another national team, unless eligibility is an issue. Now, if USSoccer were actively incentivizing Michel to put Haiti on hold à la Picault, that's another story.
That's probably more likely to be true. Anyway, Fredler 'Bijou' Christophe is an exceptional talent, probably the best we've produced in a while.

https://haititempo.com/foot-selecti...lYmH6p_UprRhBym1QVwvyVG4X3GfCQv9NSUCjgXcXAMpw A potential friendly vs Chile in June (possibly one against Uruguay as well)
The U17 team recently competed in a tournament vs Russia, Cyprus and Romania. They lost 3-0 vs Russia, drew Cyprus (lost on penalties) and beat Romania 1-0.
So if I understand the format correctly: if Haiti win the group, we get one of the 1st-rd survivors (Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico or Guadeloupe) in the next round, right?
