its not the same work at all the women play five matches to qualify for the world cup over the course of like a month usually in 2/3 cities in the us. the men's team has to play like 16 games over two years all over and travel thousands of miles.
who push for equality in draft ....it was those evil MRA groups. the dictionary femininist didn't touch it with a fifty for pole.
It's hard for Randle not to Slur his speech when Nurse Ratchet keeps slipping double doses of Political Correctness into that Red Koolaid poor McMurphy is forced to swallow.
With average attendances for US Men’s National Team games down 17% in 2018, it’s even worse news for the US Women’s National Team (USWNT) as their attendances dropped 22% in a horrible year for the US Soccer Federation. https://worldsoccertalk.com/2018/12/13/uswnt-average-attendance-declines-22-percent-in-2018/ 18 games - 14,064 avg http://worldsoccertalk.com/2018/12/12/usmnt-average-attendance-2018-worst-since-2006/ 7 games - 24,163 avg
Haha get a load of this guy. Calls others stupid, doesn’t elaborate his point further because he can’t be bothered to (and us poor plebes wouldn’t understand anyway), and then makes a provactive, yet pathetic, “Chad” remark. Did you really join BigSoccer in 1999? Given your manner of writing I’m assuming you’re still in middle school and logged onto your dad’s account. The argument concerns reference points for quality of play and levels of competition, both of which can be measured at an absolute level. Women on the lower end of the distribution and men on the higher end. Quality of play and levels of competition are what lead to the pay disparities being argued here. You won’t explain your point because you can’t. Now shut your mouth and sit down you moron. Also, don’t forget to log off your dad’s account.
Calling posters incels, telling others you’re sorry “Chad” stole their girlfriends... You should take the advice of that one poster who said you spend too much time on Internet forums. Log off BigSoccer, click that X in the top right corner of your browser, shut off the computer that you clearly spend too much time in front of and maybe go outside. Because your projections of insecurity are glaring and sad :/ With the time you’ve had to write 60,000+ posts I’m guessing you decided to skip over being incel to voluntarily celibate instead.
they want to keep all the historical advantages that have come with being women and everything else to be enforced as 100% equal regardless of the circumstances....its insane. true equality would be 1 competition that is open to both genders based on merit - not separate competitions for each gender. the fact that they can even have a team in the first place is charity....they should be grateful for what they do have. bottomline: how many people in the world have their salaries determined by idealism and fairness? how many people are systematically shielded from truly open competition in job attainment? the salaries people generally have are a result of competition and results - the women are not generating much profit - not nearly as much as the mediocre men.....the idea that both genders should get equal pay in different competitions is illogical. the women should be paid based on the profits that they are generating - which has nothing to do with what the men are doing. equal pay for equality's sake is absurd. the womens team should break away from us soccer and have their own organization that sets its own rules. us soccer should push for that solution.
Very Interesting. My take on a couple of big points: -Women's soccer and Men's soccer are not the same sport. USSF should be able to make a list of 100 points on how they are demonstratively different in competition, participation, skill, revenue etc. on both a domestic and international basis. Simply put Men don't play vs Women. -The Women's team for the most part are trying to maximize the income of 25 or so women and tangentially trying to throw some carrots to the rest of women's soccer players. -I won't fall for them saying they are trying to help all women or all women soccer players....they are not. -The women are trying to intermingle concepts and confuse the public and possibly a jury by throwing together national team play, domestic professional league, international professional leagues, and men's international play through FIFA. When they make statements like women's players make a fraction of men they never clarify if they are only referring to USSF, MLS vs NWSL, or FIFA comparisons. If you can't win with facts confuse them with BS. They don't clarify their points. -Women don't want the same pay as the Men from the USSF. They want to continue their USSF salaries, they still want NWSL salary subsidization, they still want pregnancy support, etc. They are trying to make their weakest negotiation point that NWSL doesn't make enough money to pay all players a livable wage to just go away or to blame 'the system' for lack of promotion. -They are trying to use the concepts of Title IX to apply beyond education and into the capitalistic business environment. They want to be equally supported, paid, promoted while ignoring their revenue and profit generation. They want to paid equally because they are women not because they generate similar revenue/profit. If the women win this case we are no longer a capitalistic society where pay is tied to revenue, experience, talent, and budgets. All Doctors will make the same without any other consideration. A first year woman PCP in Philadelphia, MS who works 4 days a week should be able to claim the same salary as a male neurosurgeon with 30 yrs experience in NYC. All jobs will be tried to be connected to the highest paid broadest concept of that job to make more money. Simply put where will the money come from? If they claimed that they want to be subsidized from other money making methods I would be alittle more on board for simply being honest.
Not sure about USSF but for most federations, a significant part of the revenue comes from regional and international competitions. At the current international format, it is tough to argue the teams to the same job if they play different competition at different venues and dates. An easy fix, IMHO, is to merge the WCs. Instead of increasing the WC to 48 teams (which would delude the game IMO) merge WWC and WC. Split all payment and prizes equally. Women game supporters argue that the WWC isn't as big as WC due to lack of media coverage, sponsors, etc. (This is hard to prove either way). Combining the WCs would create enough coverage of the women's game to boost the domestic leagues around the world.
and? Fifa wants to increase the WC to 48 teams... The issue with gender pay is here to stay. There is no reason to have a separate WC for women. Merging the WC will not devalue the WC (just like including women in the Olympics didn't). I'm not saying WWC should get the same prize or pay - they generate less revenue so they shouldn't. But if you combine the events, she should get half. Most fans would watch both games, just like the Olympics.
The women wouldn't go for it as they'd get beat, hard, in every single game. Itd be hard to not get humiliated
Dude, seriously... Women would not play against men. Did you ever watch the Olympics? Same format. One (or more) host nation(s) two competition a male and a female WC during the same period... You must be trolling me
You probably should 1)cite your work and 2)clarify the unit of measure in the second number, and 3)clarify the viewing markets that you claim those numbers represent.
