For anyone looking, CP's assist to make it 2-1: https://streamja.com/Vnr1 His goal to make it 3-1: https://streamja.com/3ZkP Not the best natural striker of the ball, but does enough...
Why did he need to strike that ball? He needed to pass it into the corner, and that's exactly what he's done.
Not exactly. Sancho mainly featured on the right, where Pulisic was playing last season. However, many of us that watched Pulisic played occasionally on the left last season would argue that he was more effective/productive on the left wing. I think a different coach might start CP on the left and Sancho on the right, and give that a few games to see how it worked out. These two are your best attacking wingers. I think Favre tried it once and gave up. I say both Larsen and Guerrero took playing time away from Pulisic. Earlier in the season, it was Larsen starting on the left wing. Recently, it has been Guererro. Neither seems to be a better option than Pulisic. But I don't mind Pulisic getting 20-30 min per game, with a few starts, for the rest of the season. It keeps him fresh for when he arrives in England, and hopefully injury free.
And with that goal, CP is having his best goal scoring season of his career in almost half as many games.

only to folks intent on stirring things up. Any objective person thinks he’s absolute quality. And they should. He’ll always do well when given freedom to come inside like today. When he doesn’t get that, he’s in deep shit. But so is the entire team.
Shafts all touches. Make sure to follow him on twitter and subscribe to his YouTube, Great work he continues to do.
Means nothing. Subs (attacking/midfield ones) have a tendency to have a high score/assists to minutes ratio. PSV has Mexican Guti who as a sub scored about 1 goal/assist every 20 minutes. The moment he played from the start he stopped scoring. We've got a name for them, supersubs. When because of that the players gets a from the start match experience the efficiency/effectiveness evaporates.
It doesn’t mean nothing, it’s just data. It’s responsive to those arguing that he has been much worse this year. It’s evidence of his productivity in his reduced minutes. You’re point about sub efficiency and supersubs is well-taken. Personally I would have liked him to have more minutes this year, no matter the goal/assist stats, but I think the point of the tweet is that statistically, he’s been better than people seem to think.
It was a long time ago it feels, but he basically started all of their Champions League games and performed very well. But Sancho or Bruun Larsen started their league games over him.
I get Sancho over Pulisic, I'm not a blind fan. I don't get Bruun-Larsen or Guerreiro over him. Specially the latter.
Last year he was saddled with Bosz' nightmare dysfunctional team and Sarachan/Arena which could suck the life out of any kid. This year he wasn't in Favre's plans for either reasons of impending transfer (and the team doing well without him which says nothing of his quality versus guys playing over him), and/or injury. The kid is 20 and still improving. We haven't seen anything yet and may not until he gets out of Chelsea like others have experienced.
Let's be honest; he's had some bad moments as well. His elite dribbling skills are both a blessing and a curse, because he has tended to overdo it this season. And he hasn't done a great job of beating his man AND then connecting with a teammate. His passes do not tend to be precisely aimed at a teammate, but more of a general space where he hopes to find a teammate. He needs to sharpen his combination play to become truly elite.
He never was a goalscorer in Shakhtar either. He was an assisting machine though. But arguing that he is bad is mental.
Well, it looks like Mr. Zidane is set to become as the Real Madrid for the second time. It certainly have future implications on Christian Pulisic. Real Madrid 'set to name shock new manager' - and it's not Mourinho https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/foot...19037#ICID=Android_MirrorFootballApp_AppShare
Bundesliga is on to Shaftbro @ShaftBrewer . Second blocked video in recent days. Perhaps he should start uploading somewhere other than YouTuBe.
I need to see him score several more times (and assists) so Dortmund win that title and he leaves on a HIGH.
