Soccerway says that Sabbi came off the bench in the 40th minute and assisted on the second goal in a 2-0 win over Esbjerg. Hobro moves up from 14th to 12th and is no longer propping up the table.
That was a great assist! Wonder if he gets a call up. I could see it since GGG knows Sabbi from when he trained with the Crew
Nope Sabbi did too for a time. Mentions so at the end of the article below https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.di...-ghana-friendly-against-usmnt?template=ampart
I doubt he gets called up to the USMNT soon. He’s had a rough stretch since his hot start to the season in August. Seems like a U-23 candidate
Ya I see that reasoning too but look at how he called up Lewis and Mihailovic for various reasons who are also U23s. He’ll call whoever best “fits” his system. It’s a breath of fresh of air vs of guys like Danny Williams played wing for us! Yikes
Full squad FIFA dates. Lewis and Mihailovic got called up because it was MLS-only. Sabbi isn't getting called up when the full selection is available.
Probably not all 3 will be on next weeks list but I could see one being there. Lletget, Pulisic, and McKennie are still injured currently. Guess we will see
McKennie is expected back by or before their Man City game. Pulisic will probably be back as well, but tougher to gauge his injury. Didn’t know Lletget was injured? Was that recent? Anyways I still think this guy needs at least another year of more consistentcy playing like he was a few months ago. I remember Sabbi, Gall, and Amon were all blowing up around the same time. They’ve all dipped a bit since then.
