According to Reddit, Ozil has posted on social media. So he's starting and going to score 3 and assist 3. Arsenal lose 6-6 on away goals.

Well, if we don't win, it'll be one of the most embarrassing European exits that I can remember. Let's do this.

For anyone who gets Galavision, it's on there now live.

Thanks @yossarian for making this thread at the 11th hour!

But something seems wonky with Bigsoccer.com today so this might not be the most active match day thread of all time. ;)

We take a corner direct instead of this dumb short corner shit and we score. Mustafi, of all people.

We're leading 1-nil but level on aggregate 1-1, still NO ROOM FOR ERROR, if we concede now we will be in BIG TROUBLE, but if we can maintain a clean sheet and get a second one you won't have to worry about me posting the next MD thread (at least for another match yet ;)), so COYF'n'G!!!

    YES!!!

    2-NIL!!!

STILL NO ROOM FOR ERROR, now it's just a matter of keeping a clean sheet, or, getting yet a THIRD ONE!!! KILL!!!

BigSoccer.com was basically down for all of the first half. :(

I watched somewhat, and Ozil seemed productive (maybe something to prove?) but every time I looked up Iwobi was thundering into or around their box. He seems an animal today!

And that first 20 mins was really fun to watch. We were overloading & overpowering them. Why can't we play like that more often??!!!

To paraphrase John Strong on FOX......

"45 down, 45 TO GO!!! It's Arsenal 2, Borisov nil."

    (and 2-1 on aggregate too!!!)

Still must play error-free football though, remember if they get one here we MUST SCORE, otherwise they will move on on the away goal, unless we ram it down their throats and make it 3-nil, which will give us more breathing room, COYF'n'G!!!

Because we don't often play lousy Belarusian teams. ;)

Um, we played one just a week ago no?

OK the pitch then was slightly dodgy but we surely didn't play with anywhere near the intensity and urgency of today. That's what I so long to see more of.

56' Sok on for Kos. Looks like he picked up a knock to his left leg. Big bag of ice on it very quickly

But GREAT to seek Sok back. I hope he's 100% fit and theiy're not rushing him back.

    AND THEN HE SCORES!!!!!

They thought they were going to walk it, were wrong, and couldn't adjust.

3-0, Sokratis on another normal corner.

Great lead, probably seals the tie, but the fact that we can't score from open play against this team is not good.

We're 3-0 up and haven't gotten out of first gear. I like the scoreline, but the performance is meh.

Maybe you missed the start of the match? We were in 3rd or 4th gear much of the time. Especially Iwobi.

Second half has been a different story. And then when we got to 3-0 it became game management. Understandable.

    FT 3-0 (3-1 on agg)

Now that's more like it. Sure we should've scored more goals (yeah, I'm looking at you Auba).

Now the only challenge is convincing @yossarian that he's capable of taking us on another long unbeated run!

IDK I thought he was right to stick up for Monreal who got absolutely clattered. Xhaka just confronted the guy and didn't do anything stupid that I could see. We need more of that... just don't headbutt, slap a face or anything.

We advance in a tournament we realistically have a chance to win, one that gets us the potential to qualify for UCL next year, score 3 goals, and keep a clean sheet. For the first time in several weeks, I'm reasonably content with the performance...

Easy to see a ref give a yellow, and with his penchant for getting them, I'm sure he's on the verge of a suspension.

I'm happy with the number of chances created, but still concerned that none of the goals came from open play.
