FC Muri are a Swiss fifth division team, currently in 5th place in their league.

FC St Gallen lost 2-0. Manneh was subbed out at his very typical 62’. St Gallen had zero shots on goal but did have 54% possession.

YB scored very early and put the match out of sorts for FCSG. YB controlled the match and could have easily run away with the match. Neither of their top forwards played (Horau and Nsame).

One of BS' favorite whipping boys - Kekutah Manneh - started and got an assist in a 3-2 victory for St. Gallen - but he was subbed out at half (not sure why - injury perhaps?)

Highlights of St. Gallen's last match - Manneh with the header assist around the :50 second mark.

DNP for Manneh in a 2-1 loss for St. Gallen, dropping them to 6th in the league.

That feels like a good move to me. Props to Manneh for giving it a go abroad, but it hasn't really worked out.

I hope he can get back to form with Cincinnati. Not too many good American attackers in the league, so any additions on that front are welcome.

FCSG signed two forwards during the winter break. Once that happened, there was not any more room for him on the squad.

the thing is, he hasn't been good since 2016. unfortunate, i had high hopes for this player.

Probably the same player now that he was in 2016. Or, 2014 for that matter. That was always the issue with Manneh.

    http://foroyaa.gm/gambian-born-kekuta-manneh-named-9th-fastest-footballer-in-the-world/

apparently my eyes don't deceive me ...he is actually VERY FAST - though sometimes he plays very slow...(maybe training? or stamina issues?) ...rated as 9th fastest footballer in the world! wow...behind only big name players in the first 8.

for me, I thought he was trending up a bit for st gallen...and was beginning to make a bit of a mark towards the end of the season....wish he wouldve stuck it out in switzerland a little longer - but maybe this move back to MLS will be good for him as long as he gets to actually play.....

He is very fast. When I first watched him at Vancouver, he kind of reminded me of Donovan when it came to almost always beating the opposition to a loose ball where there was anywhere close to an equal chance. Alas, that is where any comparison starts and ends. A big issue for him is endurance. He rarely goes beyond 60-70’ while not making much of a defensive contribution during that time. Then, there is the decision making and just an overall lack of progression to his game.

I remember the first time Alphonso Davies subbed on for Manneh and you could see right away the difference in work rate and defensive contribution and he was only 15- 16! I wish Kekutah well and think he can help an MLS team. I have my doubts in regards to USMNT but Berhalter is well aware of his strengths and weaknesses so we will see.
