I 8-2 remind you though... Chelsea's owners are nowhere near as patient with their managers as Arsenals...

Hot off from the press, published by the Daily Mail. According to the article, some Chelsea supporters are calling for Mr. Sarri to be sacked.

    https://mol.im/a/6688567

Already, the odds of him being push out as Chelsea manager substantially dropped from 14/1 (a ratio of 14.0) to 7/2 (a ratio of 3.5), according to Betfair through this story. To put in the context, in relating to the betting odds in UK on the any Premier League manager, if the ratio is at or greater than ten, then his job would be safe safe. However, if the ratio is between five to a decimal of less than ten, it's a yellow flag. Now, if the ratio is less than five, it's a red flag.

In final paragraph, the Daily Mail UK instantly speculates Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone and Derby County manager (and Chelsea player legend) Frank Lampard are the favorites for the managerial job at Chelsea should the hierarchy/ownership remove the Italian from his current role.

So, it's very possible that Christian Pulisic may get a new Chelsea manager for the upcoming 2019-20 Premier League season.

6-0?? Getting your butt kicked that way upends even lower league clubs. if Hazard and some of the others were thinking of jumping ship, that score might just do it.

0-6, after being embarassed 0-4 by Bournemouth; while he turned the best midfielder in the world to average, not good.

    Sarri is gone.

    Simeone would be perfect.

Gotta imagine Frank Lampard might love the job of being interim manager and hoping he can spin results into a primetime role.

Hope it's Simeone too. Lampard would be a bad choice IMO.

Is it possible the players are "making the bed" for Sarri?

For all that's sacred, please no Mourinho... it'd be a tragedy for our guy.

I feel that was what the United players were doing in the last games for Mourinho.

Mourinho has sucked at the last several jobs, including his last season at Chelsea. Maybe someone in NASL would take him

cp better know what he's getting into.

Soooo... Puli has had 4 managers at Dortmund and will have 2 different managers at Chelsea before he even trains with them? Guess he’ll feel right at home there.

Chelsea is an absolute dumpster fire right now. Of all the places Pulisic could have went... Very disappointing. Maybe he can pull a De Bruyne or Salah by rebounding after being chewed up and spit out at the Blues.

This move just doesn’t look good right now and the summer is going to be a make or break for the club.

Just going to help Liverpool get him on the cheap, maybe.

I said it before, will say it again, damn I’m disappointed he’s going to Chelsea.

Nah. It is something the current version of Mourinho elicits from the players. He stultifies them and they hate it. Nobody can play well when the coach does as Mourinho has been doing for years now. He's lost the thread toward success, IMHO.

Sort of worried about Puli reaching his potential at Chelsea.

He seems more like a Tottenham or Liverpool guy to me.

    Style of play?

Cause he will certainly have a better chance starting at Chelsea.

Does playing more or style team plays give a player the better chance to reach potential? I would think it's a combo. I think Pulisic can do well playing Sarri ball (if Sarri survives)

The worse Chelsea does right now, the more of a chance he has of starting right away.

Wouldn’t it be funny if he ends up at Chelsea with Tuchel? No rumors as far as I know, but if PSG get knocked out of UCL this round you have to wonder if he will stick around.

I think Chelsea needs to clean house though, they’ve got players that have quit on three straight coaches.

Sadly, that's the state of modern era soccer.

You need Bellichick to come clean that Chelsea house. He'll send guys packing faster than you and blink.

I’m not sure he cares as much about playing time as you think. He had a choice between getting paid now and fighting for his minutes with BVB. He took the money. He’s not stupid so he had to know what a loan back would mean for his minutes.

Maybe. But also consider the offer and the timing. I think it was not so much as "getting paid now" but "getting paid this much ever". It was kind of a freakish offer, IMHO. Not sure it would have ever come around again at that magnitude. At any rate, he seems like a great competitor in his body language and effort on the field no matter the quality of minutes.

Just a follow up, Brandt did a get a 1.0 rating in that game. It is achievable (for a German player) and it has to be a truly remarkable performance. Just wanted to point that out because the discussion of the Kicker ratings seems to come up often. Puli got a 1.0 once, in the first game of the 2016-17 season.
