Was at the game on Saturday. My friend I was with, who doesn't watch soccer at all, remarked at how quickly DeAndre got up when he got hacked, and was happy there wasn't a lot of diving going in. He was happy to hear that he was American. That's my right back.

Constantly out of position and getting beaten by the extremely slow Raul Jimenez, most recently. I haven't watched Yedlin much lately, but if these first 40 minutes are indicative of how he has been playing, I have no idea how he's maintained a place in the starting XI.
He has gotten beaten in behind 2 or 3 times while ball watching, and has been beaten off the dribble around the box another 2 or 3 times. And he has provided nothing on offense yet to make up for his horrible defensive showing.
If he plays like this, Jimenez will be facing Cannon or Lima instead. Yedlin has had two appalling attacking errors already in the second half.
Almiron with his first Premier League embellishment. I feel like a proud father. (He was probably fouled but he sure sold it)
Almiron has made a couple of nice simple and hustle plays. Yedlin has been less impactful than one would like while I've been watching.
Almiron nice cross to Perez for the potential clincher, but over the top. Newcastle failing to possess for long, so four minutes of stoppage could drag on...
