Kovac guarantees: Arp becomes a national player

For Niko Kovac an "investment in the future": HSV striker Fiete Arp.
It's not up to Niko Kovac that HSV forward Fiete Arp (19) plays next season or next season at Bayern. "I have nothing to do with it," the coach of the record champion candidly admits that his employer had lashed the transfer before Kovac took office in July 2018. On Arp Kovac is happy anyway.

"We are all aware that he is a very good player," he says, although there were also other votes among the fans following the official announcement on Friday evening, while some consider the move from HSV-Bank to Bayern to be too big , Kovac sees it differently when a reporter provocatively asks on Friday if he, Kovac, believes that Arp will ever make a play for Bayern pros.

The boy is 19 ", replies his - now - future coach:" One can not say that a player who is 19 and now does not play at HSV, nothing can. "It is" a special situation in the 2. To play league, to ascend. I have played myself in Hamburg (1999 to 2001, d.Red.) And know what is going on there with the fans, also with the media. That means the pressure is pretty high. It's not so easy to use a 19-year-old. "

In a few years you will be able to laugh about it, says Kovac
For Kovac, Arp is "an investment in the future," a kind of gambling: "When you buy stocks, you think maybe they'll go up, that's what many clubs do, and you have to get there early to get those talents to secure these good players for little money. " Bayern pays the HSV a circulated transfer fee of around 2.5 million euros.

He even gives the questioner a guarantee: "I am sure that he - I hope we will speak again in a few years - then German international player, I give you letter and seal. Then we will be easy on this issue can laugh. " And you will see how high the return for Bayern has turned out.

    2BL
-Pieper made his pro and 2BL debut playing the entire 2nd half in a 3-0 win.
-97 GK Brodersen also made his 2BL and pro debut but in a 4-1 loss.

Yup,everybody is complaining about the german youth nowadays,it is kind of fashionnable. Especially Zorc and Ricken. But they never really explain what has to be done exactly. Ricken says the school system is not good for the development. Come on,five years ago,all the Rickens and Zorcs were enthusiastic about our youth system and the kids had the same school system. There has to be changed something of course, but It is not suddenly all bad.
Meanwhile U16 wins by penaltys against the netherlands, goal in regular time by Trujillo
    U17 loses 1-3 vs Portugal,goal by Woltemade

I think Germany is the only county in Europe that required kids to finish n pass A-Levels in order to become a professional footballer

Some of them are still doing it at 19

And kids in England n France finish schools at 16/17. Then focus in football n physical workout

Germany are known to produce late bloomers. Seem like in this generation we can’t do that anymore

There is an interesting correlation: u see youngsters from England n France who brewakout in Bundesliga tend to be Black kids

They have physical advantages early. Almost No whites. Physicality is neglected but it’s big part of promotion to 1st team

Regardless, I think kids should complete Abitur first. Or they should have some sort of special certificate

Germany U16 (03 group) beat Argentina 4-2 today.
Goals scored by Gencoglu, Trujillo (his 2nd), Lutke-Frie, and Gunther.

"Tekin Gencoglu of Borussia Dortmund already in the 6th minute with a remarkable fallback to the lead. Just seven minutes later, Marlon Roos Trujillo dusted off a second-half run by Gianluca Schäfer at the far post, scoring his second goal in the tournament. With a long-range shot from around 18 meters, Dennis Lütke-Frie again provided the lead (69th), which Lasse Günther after a solo run finally expanded to 4-2 in the final stages (76th)."

with the win Germany are in 1st place in the UEFA Development Tournament with 1 game to go.

and more interesting is that there are numerous 03s who aren't even participating in this tournament.

of course this is the 2nd time Musiala gets called up by Germany only for his name to be later on erased.....

Musiala played last time for us, not this time because he’s injured

Tekin’s goal was a nice bicycle kick , insanely talented.

Lasse Gunther is fast n physical n relatively big for his age. Around 182cm at 15 years ago.

I think he is very very promising

I'm glad Klunter played, I think Mittelstadt as LW is good to improve his attack but I think he's better off as an LB. It's only because Plattenhardt that he plays up.

meanwhile Waldschmidt scored his 6th goal of the season to tie the game 3-3 and be the hero.
    https://streamja.com/JwmQ

looks like he even assisted a goal ruled out to potential win the game 4-3, too bad.

while Geiger off the bench assisted the 3rd goal in Hoff's comeback down 3-0 to tie the game 3-3.

Nice to see Waldschmidt on the score sheets again. He could be well on his well to 10+ goals this season which would be a big break through

Musiala last played for England not us, kid flip flops all the time. Only became eligible for England because he played for Chelsea. It's one reason why I'm not sure I want him for Germany. Not even British and he flip flops, one can question his commitment.

if you look him up he goes England than Germany than England and now Germany (but was injured according to you).

well next season in Winter Musiala will be forced to make up his mind as there will be U17 Euro Qualifiers for 03s. Let's see what happens then.

Lutke-Frie and Tekin seem to be Dortmund's promising 03s (for now) since U17 is all 02s but those 2.

if you had to compare Tekin to a current pro, who would you go for? I know you compare Gunther with Bale, doing well with both Bayern and Germany too.

Musiala, I think if both England n Germany have full team, we are playing with our B-team almost... Musiala won’t play for any side

Tekin? He is good. I think... Salah?

    U19
X2: Cakar (scored twice more than Makanda this season in less games played and minutes too), Schlax, K.Bukusu, Neiss (now tied with Yeboah as Nord/Nordost top scorer, although Yeboah hasn't played awhile as he he's between U19-1st team)
X1: Cetin, Schade, Sengun, Berisha, Wolf, Tokac, Giersiefer, Dajaku, Riedinger, Siersleben, Marx, Ezeh, Damer, Gudra (once again off the bench and 2 goals in 2 games since his H96 move), Jahn Herrmann, Philipp Herrmann, Gratzl, Bilbija

looks like Katterbach is back from his Winter camp injury as he played full game today. Jesaja Herrmann only lasted the 1st half today, picked up injury? Also Dautaj came on as a sub in last 2 consecutive games.

    3rd Liga
-Grill kept his 2nd clean sheet in 3 games since he became #1
-Owusu got his 3rd Liga XI debut today in a 1-1 played 68 min (on loan)
-Hemmerich made his 3rd Liga debut today played full game in a 2-1 loss (on loan)
-Wolfram scored his 3rd goal of the season in a 1-1 draw vs 2nd place Karlsruher. Kubler one again played full game as they get 3 draws in a row and still close to getting out of relegation
-Abu Hanna got his 2nd XI only to be subbed out in 36th min. (on loan)

some 99s are getting more and more playing time in 3rd Liga.

    2BL
-Mees off the bench assists to make it 2-0 for Union.
    https://streamable.com/65z96
-Jaeckel continues to start as Furth keept a clean sheet. Good to see more 98 cbs playing (although he seems to be used as a DM)

    1BL
-looks like Geiger had 2 assists vs Dortmund today off the bench. Currently at 3 assists in 4 games for a player who recently returned from a long term injury. His other assist,
    https://streamja.com/PmXG
-disappointing to see S.Rhein get a straight red vs H96 in 11th min and same game had a rare start for Knoll. Can't do much as 10 men team. He played 76 min, while Fuchs off the bench played 30 min.
-Dahoud got a rare start today playing full game in a 3-3 draw

so you think he's not good enough to make either if both use full teams?

although this tournament is more like a B/C team than B. We are missing something close to 10 players, that's basically half a squad's worth.

as for Tekin, he's an interesting one. Who was the last German attacker to breakthrough the Dortmund 1st team? Gotze? That was almost 10 years ago.......Wonder if Tekin could be the 1st since then. Any promotion from before 03s seem to be more likely midfielders. Issue with Pakia is that Dortmund seem too high on Moukoko. As for Tekin similar to Salah that's interesting, his role model is Ronaldo too.

03s really do seem like a good age group.......too bad that they seem like they won't make 1BL until 2020-2021 season. The ones who are born between Jan-May could make their debuts next season as they would turn 17 in those months.

    Depends on positions

GK n CF maybe later... I think they might have to wait until 21/22 when they have real chance at the GK or CF spot

Wingers n fullbacks tend to emerge earlier. Then CM, then CB

are you sure fullbacks emerge earlier? There is only one spot for LB and one for RB.

I get the impression, that wingers, midfield and cbs are the ones who emerge earliest because these have more positions in XI. Lots of wingers can play both sides or if a chance opens up on a not favorite position, they will play on that less favored side.

as for Tekin isn't he the type who can play all attacking positions outside of CF. Should help him breakthrough when the time comes.

Yes I Think Turnover among Wingers and Fullbacks is faster

28/29 they are considered old. Those positions required pace.

And we saw many fullbacks (not only in Germany) are converted from midfield or wing. There is such need

    Strikers n keepers , 32/33 aren’t old yet. Maybe 34/35

And u can see wingers n fullbacks are generally young

Keepers n Strikers are generally older

Czyborra started his 4th consecutive game as Heracles beat Ajax 1-0. Looks like he might have cemented himself in XI? Was subbed out at 90+4.

Interesting that in this video not all goals are scored by the same person in the beginning

Plays like a pure poacher now... needs to improve his pressing as well as hold up game

-Chabot and Handwerker played full game as Groningen won 2-1 vs Vitesse. Handwerker assisted the 1st goal. Win takes Groningen from #15 to jump to #12 on table.
-Eckert off the bench played 67 min in a 4-1 loss

    Danish Superliga
