I guess there he will get more play time then.
Sometimes, I wonder if these European clubs have done their homework before buying any player, whether they really need him...etc.

I wish he stayed at Kashima. Y. Endo spent his whle career in Japan and he's miles better than some of those who played in Europe.

Even his basic passes were off. Positioning was off.

I remember seeing him do a simple pass across from centre circle to a wide open Nagatomo. No pressure on him from the Qatari team and he almost put it out of bounds and made Nagatomo sprint backwards to collect it.

If I recall he's had times of mentality breakdown too. Like when he pretended to be sick for a couple weeks when he went to Spain.

From a medical perspective his mood is quite openly up & down in a way I've rarely ever thought about for other football players. I don't think though there's enough based on how he interviews and all to give him a 'diagnosis'. To me it's more a mental strength thing than a psychological illness.

Yes Im just speculating. Could be anything. Some players has showed themselves weaker than others. And stuff could've happen that we dont know about. His club situation is not ideal either. Would not suprise me if he went home soon.

Yes. You probably know him better than I do but I thought it to. And its no joke if he is bearing it inside.

The way his form swings, it's not even within a range that you notice with other players. Most players are themselves +- 15% in performance.

But throughout his career you see him up and down. Sometimes he looks like he could become one of the great CM's in the world like when he played against Real Madrid for Kashima and scored twice, or even when he was young in that U17 Japan team he looked like a total gangster. Then he'll have games like today, or really this whole tournament where he can barely put together a basic pass has no concept for positional play and looks like he doesn't even want to be there.

Interesting information. I've always thought people with bipolar disorders are unable to mingle with society let alone play a group sport like football.

Probably not terribly useful or responsible to speculatively attribute Gaku's performance to an undiagnosed mental health condition. To me he just has certain player attributes which allow him to shine in certain matches and not in others - he is a liability in the negative transition (offense -> defense) phase of the game and thus Getafe's coach doesn't feel that Gaku is a great fit for central midfield.

It was reported that he had agreed to a loan move to Deportivo La Coruña, but Getafe pulled out of the deal at the last minute having failed to secure a replacement (why would you need to replace a player who isn't playing at all?).

    He is not injured.

It was clear since the first half of the season that he does not fit in the team all-together, hence, I don’t know why didn’t he try to secure a loan move like what Inui did?

Well I thought he was close to moving back to Segunda Division. Who knows, maybe try a new league and country.
