Here's my take: Seperate Thread: 1) Playing in top 5 leagues as a first team player regardless of NT debut or caps (ex. SHM or LKI). 2) Playing in second division of top 5 leagues with regular NT appearances (ex. LSW, HHC). 2) Undisputed legends playing in lesser European leagues (ex. PJS @ PSV) Official Koreans Abroad: 1) Everything not included above (ex. SHJ in Hungary, LYP in MLS, KMJ @ Beijing) Youth Thread: 1) All youth players remain in this thread until they sign a pro contract regardless of occasional first team appearances (ex. PSH)
What about a K-League player (with no NT appearances) who have just signed for a team like PSV, Benfica, Celtic ?
He's 21 turning 22 this season. He deserves to be in official thread. I say any player that plays in CL team and their league is above Scotland in UEFA coefficient ranking at the time he signed a pro contract deserves a thread if he has a NT appearance.
Yes I mean this thread: Official Koreans Abroad Thread Part X [R] if he's above 18 and no pro contract.
I guess it doesn't matter if it goes either way, but it needs to be made explicit. Formally, however, he is still a "youth" player without a pro contract so it makes sense to keep him in the youth thread for now.
Yo I just discovered a new player coincidentally. So I was looking through Cheon's instagram and I stumbled upon this player named Joon-mo Kang. He seems to be a Korean American. 16 years old just signed with Dresden Dynamo few hours ago, but used to be part of Mainz youth team. Didn't play too much in the u17 team, just three apps. https://www.instagram.com/joonmk7/ https://www.transfermarkt.com/joon-mo-kang/profil/spieler/596371 I wonder what's his national affiliation is. You know if I had a son which team he'll play for
#8.. Seo, he looks promising. He and U17 CB from FC Augsburg are probably top prospect in Germany for Korea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=RUGrMCFIswA In Spain, just too many to list... and difficult to track. edit - looks like Augsburg kid won the Korean derby https://www.transfermarkt.com/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3127574
He deserves a thread, or else a league equivalent to or less than the K-League (J-League, CSL, Qatar, MLS and other non-top 20 leagues) then no. We should start using this as reference: https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/#/yr/2019
FCB II is in Dallas for a week long training camp. Dallas because FCB and FC Dallas have a partnership
