I'm just hoping we see him against a team that's not Barcelona, Real or Atletico. They are facing Eibar next week. BTW, how do you guys rate Vinicius in comparison to Lee Kangin?
My thoughts: - He is very composed and elegant on the ball. His ability to shield the ball is very good. - He has very good technique. In tight spaces and under pressure, he keeps control very well and is good off the dribble. - His passing range and vision is very good and his decision making reliable. - He has good speed. Burst into the box well a number of times only to be ignored. - We are still to see his evolution. Is he a 10? An 8? A 6? Still to be seen. - Defensively, he needs a lot of work. His positioning is lax. He needs to be snappier in the tackle and harder in the press. Close down faster. - Played very conservative in his two starts. No doubt part of it is nerves and the teams he was facing (AM/RM) but he played not to make a mistake, not to create. Particularly in both first halves. I would like to see him be given minutes against other mid/lower table teams. Look forward to seeing his progression. He's an exciting talent.
needs to be more aggressive without the ball. both when the team has possession and when the opponents do

A Paik le he visto bien, atrevido, con personalidad, mostrando las cualidades que tiene en cuanto a auoestima y en cuanto a confianza”, apuntó sobre el hombre del Peralada que ayer fue titular. - Eusebio praised Paik after the game, saying "I have seen Paik well, daring, with personality, showing the qualities he has in terms of self-esteem and in terms of confidence" (google translator).
Unused sub today. Girona lost 3-0. Pitch was awful. Waterlogged. Looked like they were playing in a kiddie pool. They are in trouble though. Looks like a relegation dog fight coming up. Must beat Huesca next game.
Lost 2-0. Weird team Girona. Moments of quality followed by ineptitude. Silky going forward but toothless. They are in a dog fight for survival, but I think they are good enough to survive . They were unlucky in this one. Missed chances, hit the bar, had a hugely unfair red card on 68 mins, should have had a pen. Individually, except for two moments of bad decision making where he tried to beat 2-3 defenders on the dribble and got dispossessed, PSH played very well. Don't believe what the Korean netzeans say. He was very good. Great touch, skill and control, good vision and link play, good passing range, protects the ball well, earned some free kicks, won a few balls back on defence. One thing he must do is up his work rate. He needs to be busier and more aggressive on both sides of the ball. That and lapses in defensive positioning are his two main areas requiring improvement. Individually, a good outing though.
well said. All the negative things you mentioned can be improved if he plays consistently. He needs to move if he doesnt get the opportunities
In the squad for the cup game against Barca but on the bench. With a number of first teamers back from injury he has been relegated to the B team again. He needs to leave. At his age, he needs consistent starting minutes in a first team. I still believe in him, but talent never shines on the bench. Funnily enough, Serie A would suit his game.
