Interesting you bring this up. I always remember growing up playing ball it was a nightmare guarding good left-handed players. I guess it's because they're outliers in a righty-dominated system? Anyway I have no problem with LKI being heavily one-sided, I mean so is KCH and he's pretty effective right? I just hope that he can make the adjustments to perform at a senior league level, even when the other team targets him as the focal point that needs to be stifled. I don't dream of him being Messi, but have honest expectations of him being able to pull the strings proficiently for us on the world stage, with moments of pure brilliance sprinkled in.
Holy crap that was really impressive. When did he get so big and he looks to shield the ball really well. Another 'kid' playing at levels higher than most AFC comp..
Not sure if this kid has been mentioned before but we have a U19 kid in udinese in CM. https://www.transfermarkt.com/sehyun-beak/profil/spieler/537508
Not sure if this counts for anything, but LKI is currently has the highest FIFA rating AND potential rating at 17 years and under. Just an interesting tidbit. Toggle to Age 18 and he's still in the Top 10 (along Alphonso Davies, Vinicius Jr, teammate Ferran Torres, etc) https://www.futwiz.com/en/fifa19/ca...otential=85&maxpotential=99&age[]=15&age[]=17
It is nice to be showered with these types of accolades but the Barça boys had their share as well. Had a league match runout and hope that it's a stepping stone n a permanent fix in the first team
How nice it would have been if he and LKI were part of AG squad instead of HIB and LSM or all the other useless scrubs that took their place instead.
It's already done. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/lee-kang-in-valencia-cf-2018-2019-r.2094673/#post-37477416
Well... Lately, some members have created new threads for Korean players aboard and many doubts subsist whether or not a player should be "granted" a thread. To clarify the implied rules, I submit written ones below. I am not a moderator, so nobody is bound by the following rules. Let me know if you agree with them, if so, we'll transmit them to a moderator. So let's go. Korean players aboard rules : A Korean player might have his own thread under two cumulative criteria : A) His current situation with the KNT B) The club he plays in. A) Current situation situation with the KNT 1) The player is a regular member of Korea (it means he's called up quite regularly) = ++ 2) The player doesn't have any cap/ he's no longer called up/ he's relatively unknown = -- 3) In the case of a young player : He hasn't been called up yet but in the normal orders of things, he will be called up sooner or later = + B) The team he plays in : 1) He plays in a top five European league (EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 or Bundesliga) or with a top club in an European league which has a medium level (Ajax, PSV, Celtic, Porto...) : +++ 2) He plays in a medium/low level european league with a medium/low level team (example : Ryu in Bulgaria or Suk in Hungary...) : - 3) He plays in an Asian League (J-League, CSL, Middle east league) : --- 4) He doesn't play in Europe or in Asia (case of players which are based in north/south America : - *The criteria in the B) section apply to players who do have signed a pro contract, not to the young players aboard who have no minutes played at all at the professional level. Results : A players should have at least one "+" to have his own thread. Examples : KCH at Dijon = A)1) + B)2) = +++++ KYG at Guangzhou = A)1) + B)3) = -
Well the mod said it's all about interest so... but if I were to make a thread it'll be based on few criterias 1. Does he play outside of Europe? Automatic no thread (unless he's a legend). 2. Does he have a contract in the top 5 leagues? He gets a thread. 3. Is he playing in second division of top 4 leagues? Yes, if he has a NT appearance. 4. Is he a youth player? It'll depend and we need to come with a consensus. If he's highly rated and create good traffic, but people have to agree on it. Also if he plays in a CL or Europa level team in any leagues (Celtic, RB Salzburg, Porto etc), he gets a thread (if he signed a pro contract).
Agree with all of them other than the youth part. I think it's fair to put all of them into the youth thread together.
Man today I just learn that breaking tradition/norms (whether written or non-written) can cause a lot of chaos.
Both of the guidelines above are pretty good, good stuff guys. My only suggestion is that, the simpler the guidelines are, the easier they are to read, understand and follow, so that's the only thing I'd say for you guys to keep in mind.
