Incheon have signed Hammerby IF and former Swedish int'l winger, Jiloan Hamad. https://www.incheonutd.com/2018/fan...AxGTXf5e_hcQACbQWdWsGl61_r4B144KkpFuQE2QeDx94 Contract extensions for the Brazilian duo, Cesinha and Edgar. http://www.daegufc.co.kr/board_stor..._story_clubnews01&sid=3342&gid=&cpage=&spage=
Gyeongnam signed former EPL player Jordon Mutch, and now Dave Bulthuis from the Dutch Eredivisie. It's not much but definitely a positive starting point for our domestic league.
These guys that were brought in are slightly higher quality of players, but they're still pretty trash. Being a former EPL or Eredivise player don't mean much. Pohang had a former EPL player (who was actually decent in his top form when he was playing in England) few years back, and he only made 2 appearances or so because he was trash. Forgot his name right now. Edit: Andre Moritz was the former Pohang player
These recent signings can't be any worse than Andre Moritz. Before Moritz signed with Pohang back in 2014, the dude was struggling with a lengthy injury. He was loaned out to an Indian club to maintain fitness before he could join the team in Jan. 2015, but he just got worse. The man was on vacation mode the whole time he was there and his performance with Pohang showed. You're right about the players not being have to come from EPL or the Eredivise. Some of the best foreign players to play in the K-League came from the Brazilian second and third divisions. Jeju have been great at finding those gems. - Santos Juniors - Jair - Pedro Junior - Marcelo Toscano - Ricardo Lopes - Marcao (with Gyeongnam)
20 year old Soongsil University midfielder, Han Jeong-woo, joins the Kazakh Premier League side, FC Kairat (Andrey Arshavin's former club). He signs a 2 year contract with an optional year. He will be the first Korean to play in the Kazakh Premier League. https://fckairat.com/news/kayrat/oficialno-han-chzhon-vu-igrok-kayrata/ Short interview. - Some references to Son Heung-min and Gangnam Style - Wants to play in the Europa League (Kairat have been finishing 2nd place in the league the past 3 years and have been in the qualifying rounds many times.) - Dreams of playing in the La Liga someday (hopes of using the Kazakh League/Europa League as a pathway to a bigger league) https://fckairat.com/news/kayrat/ha...wpowOmgXMZlmn9sUX60xfXK1oauLvncA6UkIg7VZtvfPQ This is an awkward situation though. Han Jeong-woo signed with Gyeongnam five days before he signed with FC Kairat. Not sure what really happened. https://www.gyeongnamfc.com/gnboard/gnboard_view.php?c_id=media_1_2&l_no=17892
Cho Hyun-woo is close to moving to a German club according to a reporter who works for the Gyeongnam Domin Ilbo. https://digilog4u.com/56240

Bit late but Jordan Mutch has been released by Gyeongnam after 8 games and they have now signed Uros Deric. I watched him a few times last year playing against Gyeongnam and he is a real threat if you play to his strenghts. Hopefully he can help Gyeongnam turn there season around or else they are in trouble!
Suwon Bluewings are rumored to sign this Bosnian striker. https://www.transfermarkt.com/sulejman-krpic/profil/spieler/109047 Decent frame and stats, should help Adam Taggart take some burden off from his shoulders.
