Most players would have been thinking about shooting before receiving it in all that space. MMQB'ing.

    1) Trapp is not starting.
    2) Bradley not captain.
    3) We are not having the DM split the CBs when in possession. Bradley is in front of the defensive line.
    4) But it is still a 3 man in possession.

Roldan misses Baird & shoots instead.

High press is being effective so far. Left wing play pretty good.

Struggling to find anything else positive to say.

This isn’t about Qatar. I like your critical thinking most of the time.

However, you are way off if you think players - like Bradly, Cameron, Lichaj - having nothing to offer.

This is a meaningless game technically, but not meaningless when it comes to the program.

I thought the same exact thing and from the time of your post I can tell that we thought this during the same exact moment in the run of play.

I think people need to remember this is basically a scrimmage. Look at the players you liked, forget thinking this is somehow competitive.

We "may" end up winning this pathetic display but it will not be our fault. Panama seems to be so bad that if we don't win then it say we, at this point, cannot play international soccer.

I somehow expected more attempted creativity even this early and all I see is a team with players playing exactly where they are supposed to be and zero creativity. They seem to always be "in formation" I could teach that to U14s.

I don't think that is true for this game so far. He is playing higher up the pitch than prevoius regimes and it appears the CB's are doing a fair bit of distribution into the midfield instead of Bradley.

Hard to describe Lima as a back based on his position.

    3 man backline for me.

The level of creativity continues with the corner. A bunch of straight runs to nowhere that Ray Charles could have defended.

What’s the point of pressing if we lose the ball with the shit passing and control immediately after winning it

Who passed that ball over the top to Roldan on the wing?

Baird misses off a nice layoff from Zardes.

What the ******** is Twellman talking about? Zardes had a ball randomly fall to him and he played it to a wide open player. That's not indicative of anything other than a pulse.

Are there any left-footed players in this lineup?

Playing Adams at RB is so dumb when we only have one decent midfielder

Excellent linkup play. Good decision from Bradley at the start.

If Tyler Adams is playing regularly for Leipzig in central midfield, and these geniuses like TT continue to advocate for him to play on the wing, I'm going to lose my shit.
