PSV just signed Richie Ledezma from the Real Salt Lake academy. I saw him in a couple of matches with the Real Monarchs. He has the skill set but needs better competition and coaching which he should get in the Netherlands.

  2. Foreign papers keep on printing stories about clubs in their country making offers/being interested in Lozano. They then also publish asking prices og less than 40 million €€. Apart from the fact that PSV and Raiola have told no offers have been submitted by any club at all (just last week) and Lozano isnot going to move in this winter these papers come up with this shit.
I wonder why they think PSV is going to let him go for just 35 million (mentioned as offer by Napoli) or papers in the UK that mention the price tag is 40 million €€. Could have to do with the fairy tale spread by someone in the summer that the transfer fee is fixed in his contract at 35-40 million.
Good luck if you think you can have him for that kind of money.
If Chelsea buys Pulisic, who has been less than overwhelming for both BVB and the USA team, for 70 million you cannot exoect to buy someone with big impact in the WC2018 and CL and in the league for about half the money. If that were true the clubs from the epl would be queing up to offer Lozano huge wages as they could pay those with the 40 million they supposedly save on the transfer fee for likewise players. When start people use their brains instead of buying shit papers with fake transfer news.

^^Lozano is better than Pulisic. Pulisic only got big money because he is an American and will boost TV ratings for the EPL.

  4. Lozano is immense popular amongst Mexicans and Latino people in the USA. It seems that a very large part of the Lozano shirt sales were in the States. So if Chelsea signs him too they have a double whammy marketing wise in the States.

Bergwijn with a double-double this season... 10 goals, and 10 assists.

Highly-rated 16 years-old Mohammed Ihattaren made his debut... the youngest since Wilfried Bouma in 1994.

  6. The injuries of Bergwijn and Lozano give the youngsters excellent opportunities to develop themselves in the high pressure cooker.

  7. Van Bommel puts team first, players second:

This speaks way more about the Technical Director spending money for players who are not as good as those being developed in house. It's not Van Bommel's fault that they signed these players who cannot perform. Ajax have a long history of poor transfers as well.

Youth seizes power at PSV:'This is a blow for expensive Guti'
The youth makes themselves noticed at PSV. The last few weeks especially Michal Sadílek and Mohammed Ihattaren have been standing out, while Steven Bergwijn is only 21 years old too.

Because of the talents, it is a jostle for a place in Eindhoven. VI's Marco Timmer addresses this theme in his update on PSV issues and also discusses the situation of Bart Ramselaar, Derrick Luckassen (now rented to Hertha BSC) and Maximiliano Romero.

Hope Piroe takes a good look at what happened with Castaignos who left as a talent Feyenoord for Inter Milan and seems to have forgotten how to kick a ball completely.

The talents that stayed put and took the proven track via Eredivisie experience ended up as high earners. The ones that chose for immediate reward instead of investing in themselves never made the big bucks.

  12. PSV willnot be sad when they sell Lozano, as the replacement is ready:

Another late escape by PSV. Great goal by Lozano and then a clearance from the line by Dumfries. How many games have they squeaked by?

  14. So next match the final blow will be dealt by PSV?

  15. 45 minutes before kick off.
It seems van Bommel is going to put de Jong in a midfield position to lure de Ligt into covering him, thus making room for Lozano and Bergwijn to play speedy Gonzalez on the Ajax defense.
It's going to be an interesting confrontation between the two anyway as de Jong has beaten top defenders from leagues known for their heading quality in the CL.

It’s gonna be a tactical game I think, expecting it to be an ugly matching, hoping for a nice match. If Ajax gets a quick goal it will be a nice open match, if PSV gets a quick goal it’s gonna be pretty rough.

Does anyone have a good stream?

Ronaldo has praised him on many occasions TBF: Luke Neelish (luck would be closer to how to pronounce his name but he didn't exactly have much luck).

Doesn't look good on Obispo... he registered zero minute in the PSV senior team (despite the incredibly-average pairing of Schwaab and Viergiever). His involvement at PSV U21 was also sketchy. Did he battle with injuries? Hopefully nothing serious like an attitude issue or clash with coaches.

PSV was/is linked with Van Drongelen now that Hamburg will stay at a lower division. I hope this materializes as I think this would be good opportunity for Van Drongelen to get minutes and back on track on his career.

  21. PSV is also mentioned in realation to Mexican central dfender José Joaquín Esquivel, currently under contract with Pachuca, but that contract is running out 30-6-2019 and thus making him a very cheap opportunity.

Ibrahim Afellay is joining PSV on a one-year contract. Van Bommel is at risk losing many key players, so overall this is a nice acquisition. That said, given his injury history, Ibi probably won't stay on field much - but he would be a good mentor/buddy for Ihattaren, and hopefully can convince him to choose Oranje long term.
