Don't be too sure. Valencia have been having a very rough season this year, on top of a decade of disappointment and chaos, and they were flirting with the relegation spots for most of October-December. Things have stabilized a bit since, and a Cup run is always a great boost to an under-performing team, but they have a very nasty set of fixtures coming up between now and the first leg. Out of five games, the next three are all relegation 6-pointers, followed by Barca away and then another 6-pointer the weekend before they travel to Glasgow for the first game. They have a good defence, but they're not scoring, as the GD shows: Goals For 16; Goals Against 16. Even if the first leg finishes 0-0, I fancy Celtic to nick a goal on the counter at the Mestella and then carve Valencia open as they chase the game. So much so that I'm off to Paddy Power to check the odds they're offering.
the Weah signing has exploded in the social media-sphere. This is one of many on Twitter and they're popping up elsewhere as well (can't tell you how disorienting it is to search for Celtic stuff without the goal of trolling some poor Glaswegian on followfollow... ah well, I guess we all have to grow...) 'He's a wizard', 'Announce captaincy' - Many Celtic fans are loving what Weah did in training #CelticFamily https://t.co/tOqPDuhhNm— Celtic Talk (@Celtic_TT) January 10, 2019 OFICIAL: 🇺🇸 Timothy Weah es nuevo jugador del 🏴 Celtic. Tim Weah posted this video of training highlights with 21 Savage playing over the top. 🇺🇸 Can we just go ahead and hand him the 2019 Ballon d'Or? pic.twitter.com/4Hssnjxh0d— MLS Buzz (@MLS_Buzz) January 14, 2019 Video from his Instagram. Volume on.
I know you f***ers won't quite understand but it seriously gives me goosebumps seeing a Yank in the famous Hoops! I have waited years. Damn near a lifetime. I have been teased with rumors and nothing has come fruition. The closest was Dominic Cervi and Adrain Ruelas and both turned into busts faster than you can piss. Now I get a chance to see 3 Yanks wear the Hoops. A dream has come alive. Those Boys better not disappoint my Bhoys!
I'd be happy too learning the weather is that nice this time of year in Glasgow. Seriously though, where is he training in that vid?
Neymar said Tim Weah has everything to be a top attacking player in Europe https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...believes-Celtic-help-Timothy-Weah-player.html
Going to Celtic is not just going to the Scottish Premier. Celtic is tradition, it's passion, it's pedigree. And a great place for a goal-scorer. Edouard has 9G/4A and Sinclair 6/2. With enough minutes, Tim can get 6-9 goals in this half season.
6 foot tall???? Yes, Ive heard, and Im sure if he was here, he would consume the Rangers with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightening from his arse......
