^ Trying to win ACL as well as lock up the league title. But yeah, seems a bit excessive. I guess SBK won't be getting any playing time either with the LBY signing..
my family lineage is from Jeonju but crap I am really starting to despise them. The Bayern Munich of Korea.
Lee Beom-young is out for 6 months. He ruptures his Achilles not too long ago. Hong Jeong-nam will be the 2nd choice goalkeeper.
Gwangju forward, Na Sang-ho, has agreed to join FC Tokyo. The only thing left is his medical. Wonder how much the transfer fee was. https://www.gwangjufc.com/gwboard/gwboard_view.php?board_type=6&document_srl=73343&video_gbn=S https://www.fctokyo.co.jp/news/9673
Two year contract extension for Stefan Mugosa. Good move by Incheon. The dude is an important player on and off the field. https://www.incheonutd.com/2018/fan...SIt8Mc4ZsSh8A3QA7s7AmpwD10XbjjJB-bifh8sgGZWo8 Moon Seon-min has officially joined Jeonbuk. As a part of the deal, Lee Jae-sung is traded to Incheon and Incheon also gets a transfer fee for Moon Seon-min. http://www.hyundai-motorsfc.com/board/board_view.asp?bgbn=2&seq=7293 https://www.incheonutd.com/2018/fan...266dClqMh1XQWPq9_bw-tz2cnOlIex5-z0J3IP3OLJs3o
Wow I'm looking forward to the new Jeonbuk with their Portuguese manager and all those players. CYJ, HSG and MSM will play an integral part and I guess LKH will replace KSW who might follow CKH (please you instead of KMJ)? They already have bought a great CB in Kim Min Hyuk and if they can sign KKW as well their defense will be so strong to fill the hole left by KMJ (and HJH). Would be nice if they replaced LY with Kim Mun Hwan as well but that will never happen. They are so stacked! I hope the other teams can still make a good competition.
Jeonbuk are more likely to sign Lim Chae-min than Hong Jeong-ho or Kwon Kyung-won, imo. Also, don't think Kim Shin-wook would want to move to a 시민 club lol. Even Choi Kang-hee might leave halfway through the season since they can't afford to pay his $22 million salary (3 years/$7.5 million annually) anymore.
Moon Chang-jin joins Incheon from Gangwon. Will be on a 2 year contract. https://www.incheonutd.com/2018/fanzone/feeds_view.php?idx=4111&tgbn=feeds_news Former Real Lake City and New York City FC midfielder, Sebastian Velasquez, has joined Suwon FC. Last played for Real Monarchs in the USL. http://suwonfc.com/news/newsboard_view.php?id=1094&no=0&division=tn Suwon Bluewings have signed Iranian forward, Shahab Zahedi, who last played for the Icelandic side, IBV. He was on trial with Suwon for a couple of weeks before the deal was made. This dude can be either be good or can be a bust like Hygor which is why a lot of Suwon fans are worried. Suwon were originally going for Ali Alipour from Persepolis, but their offer was rejected by Persepolis.
Alipour would be an excellent player for K League but he wants to go to Western Europe because of his career and family, he married early and has a 2 year old son. He already turned down offers from Greek and Russian clubs. He is very fast, technical, has clinical finishing shots. He can shoot with both legs and can score on headers. He needs to get physically stronger. Shahab Zahedi in other hand was an average player, moved to Iceland and was scoring goals every week last time I heard about him. There was a thread on PFDC tracking him by some teenage netizens. I don't know why Korean clubs sign shrubs from Iran. Last one was Khaled Shafi from Tractor sazi who had only one good season and then went back to being average. http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/showthread.php?118831-Shahab-Zahedi-IBV-2017-18/page2&highlight=Shahab+zahedi
do you think ali karimi would be interested in moving to korea at his young age or are his europe aspirations too strong for that? i think dejagah is good enough help some clubs in kleague but he might demand a bit too much money
zahedi had an extensive trial period with the squad before he got an offer. suwon didnt sign a player they didnt think was good enough. his contract is in dispute right now though because suwon found about his past doping allegations
If you are talking about DM player from Esteghlal Tehran, then I think you can have a good shot. He went to Dinamo Zagreb for a couple seasons and came back after he got injured + they changed a manager. But in general it is hard to get big names from either Esteghlal Tehran or Persepolis without good transfer fees. If your team can manage to pay above 250-500k transfer fee, you have a case for their stars (Alipour, Torabi, Beiranvand, Hosseini, Ghafouri, Sayadmanesh,..). Ali Karimi is not a hot bet at the moment so the chance is high to move out. But If you are talking about former Persepolis and Bayern Munich player and Iranian legend, Ali Karimi, then I doubt he would move to Korea ever. He was like Park Ji Sung of Iran. Dejagah is not that expensive and is currently playing for a PGPL club. If the offer is decent he might move to Korea. He is a great player.
Bucheon signs Jang Baek-gyu from Gyeongju KHNP. Jang was the 2018 National League MVP. http://bfc1995.com/site/program/boa...2&pagesize=10&boardtypeid=7805&boardid=718877 Suwon FC finally signs Nigerian forward, Chisom Egbuchulam. According to his agent, Suwon will pay him $600,000 per season, so he will make $1.2 million with his 2 year contract. http://suwonfc.com/news/newsboard_view.php?id=1095&no=0&division=tn https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=30719 Suwon Bluewings have terminated Shahab Zahedi's contract after they found out about his drug ban back in 2015. Suwon manager, Lee Lim-saeng, has stated that they will look for another Asian player, but Suwon fans are doubting this right now due to the team's financial problems. By financial problems, I mean Samsung Electronics being stingy with their money as usual. http://m.spotvnews.co.kr/?mod=news&...Qbbyz80OKkWhY_e4k0WlNioHRwHzFnpY6stlKWjBxik#e
Jeonbuk have signed Australian int'l forward, Bernie Ibini-Isei (187cm/88kg), from the UAE side, Emirates Club. Ibini has played for the Vancouver Whitecaps and Club Brugge in the past. With the signing of Ibini, Jeonbuk's foreign quota spots are all filled (Adriano, Tiago, Lopes, Ibini). This does not mean Jeonbuk's transfer activity is finished. Kim Min-jae will likely leave in this transfer window and Lim Chae-min is still linked with a move to Jeonbuk. Also, Hong Jeong-ho will most likely extend his loan and try to ride out his Jiangsu contract at Jeonbuk. Kwon Kyung-won will eventually move back to Korea (maybe Jeonbuk?) as well due to his military service coming up and the financial situation with Tianjin. http://www.hyundai-motorsfc.com/board/board_view.asp?bgbn=2&seq=7298
What a squad: GK: Song Bum Keun, Lee Bum Young LB: Kim Jin Su, Lee Ju Yong RB: Lee Yong, Choi Chul Soon CB: Hong Jeong Ho, Kwon Kyung Won, Kim Min Hyeok, Choi Bo Kyung CM: Choi Young Joon, Shin Hyung Min, Son Jun Ho, Jang Yun Ho, Lim Sun Young AM: Lee Seung Gi, Tiago, Han Seung Gyu, Lopes, Ibini, Moon Sun Min, Han Kyo Won FW: Lee Dong Gook, Kim Shin Wook, Adriano, Lee Geun Ho(young) Hope I didnt forget someone I think they'll sign a LB too.
It’s pretty much a 1-team race. Looks similar to when Glasgow Rangers got demoted three divisions down and Celtic being the only contender in the SPL.
I'm hoping the new coach finds it a task to adapt to a new league whilst providing some refreshing approach to Jeonbuk football. I don't want this to be a boring season again.
Doesn’t matter what the new manager does. If jeonbuk have no one to compete against them and by the looks of it, there isn’t, it’s still going to be a boring season
Oh shit Gyeongnam about to sign an ex PL player BREAKING | Gyeongnam FC are set to sign English midfielder Jordon Mutch. #kleague— Korea Football News (@KORFootballNews) January 23, 2019
Jordon Mutch has arrived in Bangkok. Will undergo a medical test and join Gyeongnam's training camp immediately. http://www.sportalkorea.com/news/vi...2511563508&key=&page=1&field=§ion_code=10 Ulsan Hyundai have officially signed Dutch defender, Dave Bulthuis, from Heereveen. https://www.sc-heerenveen.nl/nieuws/dave-bulthuis-zet-carriere-voort-in-zuid-korea/10 Former Toulouse and Red Star Belgrade striker, Aleksandar Pesic, is set to join FC Seoul. In the 2017-2018 season, he made 35 appearances and scored 25 goals for Red Star Belgrade which made him the top scorer for that season and also the player of the season. In July 2018, he joined the Saudi side, Al-Ittihad, for 4.2 million euros. Will replaced Bojan Matic who had his contract terminated a couple of days ago. Wish we also got rid of Evandro. https://www.sportske.net/vest/transferi/aleksandar-pesic-menja-klub-365033.html Suwon Bluewings are apparently one of the East Asian clubs interested in Adelaide United's star player, Craig Goodwin. He has been doing great in the A-League and his transfer fee is only $450,000. Suwon's manager, Lee Lim-saeng, has stated a couple of days ago that they were looking at Asian forwards that played in the Asian Cup, so I'm guessing Goodwin is a plan B right now just in case they can't sign an Asian Cup striker. https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/spor...s/news-story/eb6648e11316370ee0acc484320306cc Jeonnam Dragons defender, James Donachie, will join Melbourne Victory on loan until end of the A-League season while Victory defender, Nick Ansell, will join Jeonnam on a permanent deal. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/soc...-to-replace-him-in-korea-20190124-p50tff.html Busan have signed Gangwon striker, Diego Mauricio. 20 goals in 71 appearances for Gangwon. Should be a good striker in K2.
Incheon is set to sign Bulgarian international midfielder, Galin Ivanov, from Slavia Sofia. Replacement for Elias Aguilar who left to Jeju. http://www.kyeonggi.com/news/articleView.html?idxno=2040296
