The times I've seen Maleton play he's been extremely average. He reminded me of Villalpando when he was with Pachuca. A fairly standard prospect by Liga mx standards.

TBH a yank who claims to know who our U20 A team consists of (the very concept of A vs B teams is near useless at the youth level) is probably way more obsessed with us than he claims. Things have changed a little bit in the last few years.... Hence, the reason there is an almost clear line [U21s] where our talent really starts to become apparent. That lost generation grew up during a time before the DA and MLS' emphasis on developing youth.
