Luton have sold over 4k tickets for tomorrow's Cup match at Hillsborough. With Wednesday's fortune's appearing to have turned with Jos's dismissal, it could make for a cracking atmosphere tomorrow. it's the 3rd round of the FA Cup, folks! whether folks realize it anymore or not - it's still a glorious day for English football. UTO. FTB.
An it's easy to know when it is because it's the first weekend of the year. The UEFA Champions League Final can be in late May or early June. The leagues end in mid-May, but there's a little more variation in what weekend than the FA Cup Third Round has. Furthermore, the Fourth Round is 3 weeks after the Third Round, the Fifth Round is 3 weeks after the Fourth Round, and replays are 1.5 weeks (or whatever you want to call it for midweek games) after the original games. The biggest analogy in American sports would be the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Round of 64.
righto! so don't come bringing your "it's a distraction/concentrate on the League" nonsense around here this weekend, capiche?! that's right, Ivan - I'm talkin' to you! edit: oops. you beat me back here. fair play. all aboard the cup train … CHOOO CHOOOO!!!
It ended scoreless. You had 55% of the possession. There weren't many shots on goal, with 4 for you and 1 for Luton. Reach got a yellow and Luton didn't get any cards.
by all accounts a dire performance. jos luhukayesque in attack … which is not a compliment. oh, well … at least there's a replay at the brilliant Kenilworth Road. Beastie'll be all over that!
it's right next to the gates outside the North Stand on Penistone road - where you'd enter to go into the club shop … er … Owls Megastore.
I have bad news. ESPN Plus showed every Third Round game, but they will only have 2 of 4 replays, and they won't show your game.
QPR Kevin H linked to a different ESPN site that says ESPN Plus will show every FA Cup replay. IvanIV and pookspur, do you pay for ESPN Plus?
