This little guy could easily become the korean kante (with anger management issues) at CDM. I'd love for him to be converted to RB asap.

He's not little. The dude is muscles, and he's average height for a footballer at 5'10.

Hwang Hee Chan is the best pure athlete we have in the Korean national pool. Maybe y'all can come up with someone more athletic, but I won't buy it.

His body frame looks compact AF.
Maybe it's his short legs that makes him look smaller.

yea he is built like an NFL running back. I dont think he has enough finesse to become a winger. Someone needs to sit down with him and talk to him about his future.

Hwang HC may be useful against China though. Chinese hate that type.
Anyway Lunch Box admits that Korea did not play well.

He says he is going to decide later when he will use Son after he joins the team. I don't think Son will start against China.

Son should be kept on the bench and be brought on if needed. I think he lands in dubai a few days before the match.

He should be rested if possible. No need to play him when he's tired, esp against kung fu pandas.

According to bet sites though, Korea have better than 60 percent chances of winning.
ELO predicts, excluding a tie, Korea win 81 percent of time, China 19 percent.

How come spurs is the only PL club, or only European club for that matter to hold a NT player for a longer duration than other NT players from other teams in the Asian Cup? I for one could give 2 shits about their PL run.

Korea has been playing like we're a good crossing team for years now when we've had inconsistent wing play and poor FBs.

It boggles my mind how we routinely stem off our counter attacking to retain possession (KSY) and rely on passes to the wings that go nowhere. It's not the strong suit but seemingly the only way the team knows how to play, save for the inspired performances we see once or twice a year (v COL, v GER)

it was pre-arranged with Tottenham for allowing him to play in the non-FIFA sanctioned Asian Games.

that's why for NUFC, Rafa tried to sway the KFA, but was not able to retain KSY for a few more fixtures.

Because they're a top 2-3 team and in contending for winning the PL? Kinda different from other players who've been called from Newcastle, Augsburg, Werder Bremen, etc. Besides, they let Sonny go to the Asian Games already, so he's missing even more games.

Wait I thought we lost lol. I'd take another 1-0 win against China and pray for performances to start ramping up in the knockouts. As opposed to previous AC's where we faltered later.

Tbh HHC needs to be benched. I'd rather play LSW and test him out vs china.

Well we were missing our best NT players: Son, Ki, LJS, KCH, JWH. To me, they are automatic starters when healthy.

Im all about youth development at the right pace but if LKI can play and more than hold his own against La Liga teams, he should be introduced to the senior NT. He is a great playmaker, can play in tight spaces, and most importantly, doesn’t play scared.

Hopefully he takes his words seriously and does what is best to develop his career i.e. swaying clear of China money.

Strong, pacey and not afraid to push the ball forward. Absolute rock at the back.

Given how we've been playing thus far, China won't be parking the bus against us, they will try to exploit our midfield and attack. I'd be weary of their ruthless tackles on Son though.

I hope they attack though so that we can score against them. We all know our capabilities. We are just unlucky. I hope we turn this around vs china to give us some momentum going forward.

It's a pride thing so, both teams won't be looking to lose, plus they will likely use their win over us during the WCQs as a morale booster. I'm not worried about China despite our performance thus far though, they have a lot of holes, and their only threats are Yu Dabao and Wu Lei whom both haven't been all that threatening thus far.
