Don't think it's any coincidence that Mourinho's meltdown season coincided with Drogs/Cech leaving.

It's a valid concern. I still err on the side of ditching him (as I'm sure you're all shocked to hear).

I get it. He knows he’d come in and be the back up. Hes 21 and enjoying a breakout season. If he continues playing well more teams will come knocking.

Paredes seems to know how to pick a pass (in front of empty Russian stadiums) against Russian teams.

And it looks like he fulfills the "slow midfield player" slot pretty well.

Guys, the living was good when Essien was here.

    Just a reminder:

Abramovich = "The Board" = Marina Granovskaia

She fulfills his vision and requests.

If you want Marina gone, you want Roman gone. Or the "Board." Which is Roman.

Which is fine. If that's what you want.

I can’t believe Real are 5th in the table but if they miss on champions league that’s only going to increase our chance of resigning Hazard or increase the chance that they break the record for Hazard.

With Cahill leaving and Luiz possibly returning to Benfica in the summer there’s talk of Chelsea activating the buy back for Ake.

It is crazy. They're playing Betis today at 245EST, I believe.

Unavailable for Madrid: Bale, Kroos, Asensio, Courtois, Vazquez, Diaz, Llorente.

Only 4 points separate the clubs and Betis have decent form coming into the match.

What is clearly worrying there is that some of those passes seem to be going forward and I am not sure that is in keeping with the current team style.

Hopefully he can bring his mate Icardi to the club also? I am not excited at all about the prospect of Higuain joining us.

Ake? Why would he want to come here and be on our bench again?

Personally I would try to keep Willian and Luiz for another season, release Pedro in the summer. Play CHO while Pulisic warms the bench. It seems to me that Pulisic is nothing more than a marketing ploy, selling jerseys and engaging with the American fan base, if the lad was any good then surely Bayern Munich would have snapped him up? I will be happy to eat my words, but to me Pulisic is nothing more than an expensive sub.

    I'd rather Pedro than Willian.

Willian is going to be announced as Sarri's replacement at this rate.

I'm just not a fan of his. Add me to the group. Sure he scored a really good goal but the rest of his match was trash. Pedro for all his faults has a crazy good motor and is our second best goal threat.

Pedro has a touch of quality in terms of finishing, too. Both feet. He's getting past it, now, but would like to see him as the striker. Why not.

Putting Hazard on the wing as normal does hurt us defensively, but he doesn't touch the ball enough at striker.

I'm not calling it a false 9 anymore. If you're in the striker position, you're the striker.

Pedro is good at making runs from wide, but he'd be very bad at making center forward runs. He's a system player - he'd be terrible in a position that required creativity or freelancing from him. When given that freedom he mostly dribbles sideways.

you clearly haven't seen Pulisic play much. his production (at 20) may not be where you want it but it's just as good as willians (at 30) and has a much higher ceiling and this team is crying out for his ability to find spaces and create havoc and chances.

Paredes looks like the one we're after. Remember that Ivan is at Zenit and will have likely done some undercover work.

    lol
Of course you are all in favour the yank, he had a great World cup after all. :)

Look I am sure he is the best American player ever, well the best since Freddy Adu anyways. But I just think he is a little ordinary. Sorry to disagree with you all, but after discussing with my German friends we came to the same conclusion. He would have been signed up by B.Munich IF he had what it takes, but they passed on him and they are targeting the superior English player. I hope he turns out to be brilliant for us, but I fear that he will be a huge expensive flop. Time will tell. Just my humble opinion. I am sorry that you don't agree with me. . .

It is great to have opinions right? even if they disagree with you?
or are you all just reacting and acting and behaving like your President Trump?
