When they already have by far the two best cb in the league. Theyre running away with this one.

The lack of players were being linked to is concerning.

No chance we get any money now. His value keeps decreasing and we want the money we would have gotten for him then.

O Jogo linking us to Idrissa Doumbia, 20 year old Ivory Coast defensive midfielder who plays in Russia for Akhmat Grozny.

    More rumours:

Idrissa Doumbia rumours picking up steam, hopefully doesn't flop like another Doumbia we know... 20 years old, seems to be really strong physically in the midfield, possibly a solution for Defensive Midfield.

We're looking at Almamy Toure, 22 year old RB from Monaco whose contract expires in June, possibly he would be a signing for next season.

One rumour that has been spreading is a return for Tiago Ilori, whose currently at Reading in the Championship. Not sure how well received he will be, after he left the club following Bruma's example.

I beg to differ from many different aspects, but that's just my opinion.

We're always buying potential. Never established players.

We'd be at the bottom of the table without Bruno Fernandes and Bas Dost, that's pretty much the basis of my argument.

How would you say we've taken massive step backwards? Genuinely curious, haven't been paying too much attention to what's happening behind the scenes.

We simply dont have money to spend. If we had received money for the players that left we could have bought proper replacement

Find it hard to believe he's actually a good prospect if Atlanta is the only team willing to pay 15 mil for him. Sounds like we avoided a mistake there.

So we avoided a mistake because Atlanta purchased Pity for $15 million? How do you know he didn't turn down other offers?

Atlanta also had Tata Martino as their head coach. I guess the fact that he signed with them means that they were the only team interested in him.

I don't, just my opinion. I find it hard to believe he had other offers and settled for MLS. I find it hard to believe he's a good prospect if no European team could match that offer. 15mil is a drop in the water for any EPL or even Championship club. I also wonder why you seem to be so devastated that we didn't sign him, 10/winger are the two positions we shouldn't be spending money on.

Didn't realize Tata Martino was such a great catch. Glad we avoided him too tbh.

Martinez is a better coach than most of the garbage we have on our team.

Not exactly devastated that we didn't sign him. I'm simply proving the point that we are a complete and broke mess of a club. An embarrassment of a team that would never spend $15 million on a quality player. Simply echoing the other sentiments here.

Rafael Leão smashed another one with Lille today. If he and others would still at be at SCP the team wouldn't have to rebuild a team halfway through the season.
I just REALLY REALLY hope SCP beats Porto tomorrow, I really don't want to their ugly team winning the league again :(

He didn't "smash" anything. Just a tap-on. But fuck that prick. Hope he tears both his ACLs.

I agree with your sentiments though
