It's level in Aldershot! 🙌This man shows his experience to make it 1-1 with a composed header... pic.twitter.com/VBgycZpmd9— Leicester City (@LCFC) September 16, 2018
Got the chance to start in the league cup against Wolves. Subbed out in the 61th minute. As you guessed no goal.
Okazaki says the ankle he injured at the World Cup is back at around "90-95%; now I just have to sharpen my match fitness".
Oka is ********ed up. I hope he will come back to Japan to finish his career and maybe starring in some Club Worldcup match and stuff.
Its getting more depressing, hold on. Subbed out at HT in the FA cup against League Two side Newport..
Okazaki previously claimed he may have to leave the club to seek a different challenge ahead of the World Cup. Speaking to the Leicester Mercury, he said: "This team is changing and the club is changing, looking for a different challenge now. "Me too. I want to change something because Leicester I love like family but I want another challenge in Europe. "I don't know whether to stay or go, but I want to stay in Europe. After four years there is a World Cup and I want to play in the World Cup again. "Then maybe I have to stay in Europe for four more years."
I don't think we'll see him in Qatar. The only member of the former generation who could actually have some chance is Nagatomo. Still, I wish the best to Okazaki. He's one of the best in Japanese history and he needs a new challenge.
No surprise, but he stated through an interview that he will be leaving Leicester when his contact is up at the end of the season. He stated his desire to continue his career in Europe in one of the four major leagues. But also added that he realizes his options will likely be limited, so he's willing to take what he can for offers from any clubs in the 4 major leagues.
I want to see him in Buli again, but I'm obviously biased. Do you guys think one of the other leagues is a better fit for him?
