Goden getting playing time is important, seems like for the next U21 cycle. When it comes to RB in terms of 98-99. The options are

    In no specific order
    Passlack, Goden, D.Itter, Amade, Hemmerich
could be missing someone but that seems to be it in terms of 1BL-2BL.

for 02 strikers you don't rate Tekin.;)

with Asllani good chance playing for Kosovo. There are other 02s that are already with other countries or headed there because of the competition. Guys like Shuranov, Harnafi, Krasniqi, at this rate Kosovo will be one country that will benefit tremendously from Germany after Turkey.

there is also Hartwig, Kronemayer and a few others.
Will be interesting to see how all these 02 strikers do in U19 next season.

on another note Borkowski has barely played for Germany youth NT, wonder why?

for GKs you don't rate Unbehaun, Klein, Plogmann and there are others too. Real issue for Schreiber is that he plays at RB fricking Leipzig. When his time comes they'll give him a BS pro contract to be 4th GK in order to get the min 12 German at the club. That's something both Leipzig and Frankfurt have done this season, give pro contract to your U19 GK.

for RB, you see why it's not a bad thing if Aydin plays RB. What about Atty/Semic? Semic was pretty good for Germany recently.

Nubel seems close to leaving Schalke.

Alexander Nübel about a change: "It's time for me"
    https://www.westline.de/fussball/sc...r-einen-wechsel-es-wird-zeit-fuer-mich?ref=tw

if he leaves next season permanently or on loan, being #1 for U21+his CL and 1BL performances should attract interest. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing him displace Fahrmann.

Koln have called up the following players to their camp in Spain.
Bartels, Adamczyk (02 GK), Horn, Bader, Katterbach, Ozcan, Hauptmann, Fuhrich

although Bisseck was with them pre-camp, looks like they decided not to take him because they want him to focus on Koln II and their relegation battle.

but once again these kids can't stay fit, Katterbach started a friendly vs Groningen and was replaced due to injury by the 30th minute in a 3-1 win. I really hope it's nothing serious....

Passlack needs a good showing next season. 2BL is ideally where he needs to play. D.Itter looks to be pretty decent in RL but will need to play and at a higher level

Tekin is playing for DFB U17, he’s in the squad

I think most Kosovo players, other than a few, arent really relevant. They have some judgement on talent/potential

Of coz things might not go into plan. But so far DFB are pretty correct

Who we lost to turkey that hurt us? Tosun?

Tekin was in the back up squad but was later moved to the Winter Camp due to someone else retracting. My question/jab wasn't about him and dfb but more about rating him as a striker. Which I know you have issues given his height.

and once again not sure why you keep bringing up the past when people talking about young prospects. Just from 98-03 there are a pretty good amount of prospects that are Kosovo eligible. Some have went for Kosovo but a decent amount have chosen Germany but how long will that last?

yeah next up for Passlack needs to be 2BL.

I believe the loan rule is that a player cannot play for more than 2 clubs in the same season. Passlack did not play for Dortmund this season as he was loaned out to Norwich, which does leave the door open for another loan in Winter. Although since there has been no word on that he seems to be staying. Pinto another RB seems to be leaving so they might not want their RB back up to change clubs.

but if he stays than next season move to 2BL is what he should go for. Who knows maybe if he impresses in Germany U21 by 2021 after 2 seasons in 2BL he can move back to 1BL.

for D.Itter, it's interesting that Wolfsburg currently have 3 RBs but 2/3 have expired 2019 contract. Wonder if this opens up chance for D.Itter to become the back up. The Brazilian William is obviously 1st choice.

Amade is a hard one to predict since its almost the end of the road for Nagelsmann and he doesn't seem to be involved in Winter Camp. Summer might give a better picture at his path.

TM updated their prices for players and relatively speaking Florian Kruger saw the biggest increase from 2BL as his value was quadrupled and now stands a 400 000.

seems like Schalke have a buyback clause that they could activate in Summer 2019. Although the date could be wrong and could be for a later time.

Hanslik is done with RL by Summer 2019.
"We focus entirely on Wolfsburg, that the relegation is successful," said Hanslik's adviser Kujtim Mustafi to ON | Sport. Mustafi also confirmed that Hanslik will not play in the fourth division after this season: "We are surprised, there are offers from second and first division."

A stay in Wolfsburg is also an issue, but depends on the chances Hansliks in the first team. In November Hanslik trained with the team of Bruno Labbadia, in the friendly match against SC Paderborn (1: 3) met the striker for the interim 1: 1. (tw) +++

interesting that he's attracting 1st division interest, The whole thing comes from 3rd Liga club EB wanting to take him on loan but he has an expiring 2019 contract, doesn't seem to renew and Wolfsburg doesn't want to lose him in Winter as II are currently leading the tab;e for 3rd Liga promotion playoff.

besides 98-Torres and 99-Boukhalfa, looks like Freiburg have called up to Winter Camp 99-Pieringer likely because Kleindienst and others are injured.

still Freiburg II have interesting striker prospects in Daferner, Pieringer and Nieland. Nieland for one has been out/getting back into shape since early Nov, last time he played.

really seems doubtful that they will renew Kleindienst's expiring 2019 contract. Would be nice to see one of these 3 promoted. But Daferner from the 3 really needs to play at a higher level.

Looks like FCN could have a decent LB prospect in their ranks. 18 y/o Ekin Celebi who has already signed a pro contract until 2021 is expected to move up to the seniors next season according to TM. Has 1 goal and 3 assists so far this season for their U19.

looks like there were 2 U14 club tournaments and 05-Kenan Yildiz a player who I mentioned a few times since the Summer as being supposedly a rated player had promising showings in both.

1st one, Dortmund beat Bayern 4-1 to win Graf Hardenberg Cup, 1st win for them at the tournament.
Top Scorer: Kenan Yildiz (Bayern) with eight goals
    Best player Paul Wanner (Bayern)
    Best GK: Louis Babatz (Mainz)
    https://www.wochenblatt-reporter.de...rtmund-bezwingt-bayern-muenchen-mit-41_a48802

2nd one, Bayern beat H96 6-0 in final.
    Best Player: Kenan Yildiz (Bayern)
Best GKs: Dennis Seimen (Stuttgart), Tim Homma (Nußloch)
Top Scorer: Szitai Szabolzcs with 7 goals (Hannover)
    https://www.rnz.de/sport/regionalsp...-sind-eine-klasse-fuer-sich-_arid,411725.html

these tournaments also had some Swiss, Belgium, Austrian and even French clubs. 1st one had Racing Strasbourg in there.

Although Yildiz is a 05 and is U14 he's actually listed with Bayern U15. So he's playing a year up his age group and with the 04s.

as for NT, kid seems to have a Turkish father and German mother. Supposedly someone said that he wants to play for Germany over Turkey.

still curious to know why outside of Selke, Asamoah (retired) and Choupo-Moting (plays for Cameroon NT), Germans strikers of African descent have been busts at the pro level. Compare that to France, Belgium, English success.

Sukuta Pasu and Mlapa were just disasters that fizzled out pretty much by the time they reached U21

man I recall there was so much over-hype around Sukutu Pasu back in the day. He's in the same class 90 as Kroos, used to play together. There are plenty of others that didn't pan out.

I really feel like these players it's mostly physical advantages that disappear once they hit pro level. Shows that most of them are very limited players to begin with.

look at Dortmund U19, 3 age groups in a row with failed African descent strikers
    98-Amenyido
    99-Kyeremateng
    00-Besong

just find it strange how much success France and England get yet for us they usually fizzle early and end up in lower levels and if lucky 2BL seems to be the ceiling for most of them.

    -Katterbach update
When trying to stop a counterattack, the left-back was fouled: "He got a blow on the ankle and kinked," said coach Markus beginning after the match. An MRI examination brought clarity on Wednesday morning: The inner ligament on the ankle of the left foot tore partially, Katterbach precipitates for an indefinite period.

-looks like Serdar is also out injured....

-A feature on 01-Aidonis and Dajaku.
    http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...ajaku_der-traum-geht-weiter.html#omsmtwkicker

    also from the article
Two success stories for the club, which is famous for its talents. Aidonis and Dajaku are expected to mark the beginning of a new era of successful youth promotion. With more guys on hold. "I'm very optimistic that it will be able to do even more in the future," says Willig, who also automatically loses top performers for his own team. "Of course we like to take the boys off course, and we're training them out," says the coach, who was sold off by the Bundesliga club rival Stuttgarter Kickers. In addition to the pros, the U21 supplied players in the first half of the season.

-Dynamo Dresden beat some club 7-0.
XI: Hauptmann, Ehlers (01 player), Atilgan (also scored 1)
    subs: Lowe (also scored 1)

-Interesting that Hertha played 70 minutes with 1 team and 20 minutes with another. 1st team was pretty much the regulars outside of Dardai.
1st team played until 70: Torunarigha, Maier and Dardai
2nd team mostly II players and bench players: Klunter, Baak, Mittelstadt, Friede,Kiprit,Jastrzembski

although when the 2nd team came on game was 1-1. In 20 minutes, the 2nd team scored 3 and kept a clean sheet. With Selke, Kiprit and Kopke scoring in that 20 min.

-H96 played Weinkauf, Dierssen, Muslija, and Anton. (Maina is injured yet again so didn't participate)
Game ended in a 3-3 were H96 came back from being down 3-0 and Muslija scored the 2nd goal in the comeback.

the team they played was Zulte of the Belgian 1st division.
for Zulte, the starting GK was 98-Bansen who only played 1st half but kept a clean sheet vs 1BL club. Also seems to have been pretty good when he played.

The big gap in the system of the DFB
The junior cup in Sindelfingen shows what German junior footballers are missing: dribblers and ball-proof players.

Meikel Schönweitz is currently perhaps the most important man in German football. He should promote the German offspring in such a way that today's youth players will become world champions of tomorrow. As sporting director Schönweitz, 38, for the juniors of the German Football Association (DFB) up to the U 21 is responsible. The Hesse says he is not looking for "solutions", that sounds too drastic, "after all, not everything is bad in German football." But he is looking for "changes", because just "a few holes in the system have risen," as Schönweitz put it. Sometimes he asks quite pragmatic questions, such as: "Why do other countries have so many dribblers, so many ball-safe players?" His answer: "There are countries that, for example, in F-Youth, catch the game in two against two or three against three. And we start at seven against seven. You then see 14 kids running after the ball, but only one who has the ball. "

Although the German youth football has succeeded in achieving a formidable system optimization, a lot of creativity has been lost, street football mentality.

Schönweitz praised Berliners: "The transition from youth to first team works very well there, because the three key coaches - Dardai, Hartmann and Covic - have very, very good communication with each other. This is a crucial factor why so many guys come in up there. "And what Schönweitz thinks is quite good:" Berlin is the last city in which a bit of street football mentality comes up. "
    https://www.tagesspiegel.de/sport/j...grosse-luecke-im-system-des-dfb/23832902.html

is it surprising though? the system has been pretty anti-dribbling, anti-individuality for too long. There are still dribblers in the youth levels but not as a many as one would want.

doesn't help that the bum Low before WC18 stated we needed dribblers/difference makers only for him to not bother with any of that until post WC failure. Guy really thought neverending passing is more important than difference makers.

and to believe he only kept his job because he won the CC17 with like half the team being youth NT eligible. The other bum Grindel confirmed numerous times that's why he's still here. Everytime I look back at that tournament, I remember at how many games Germany weren't far off from losing and that the ones who were the difference makers were the players not the coach.

looks like they changed some things up for the U17 Euros.
"A total of 16 teams will play in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2002 eligible to participate. Starting from this season, up to five substitutions are permitted per team in each match. Moreover, each match has a regular duration of 90 minutes, instead of 80 minutes in previous seasons."
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_UEFA_European_Under-17_Championship

makes perfect sense the U17 WC is 90 min not 80. That's always been the sticking point to me why U17 Euros is 80 min while the WC is 90 min.5 subs is interesting but a bit much, that's like half the XI. Guess they want to make it more inclusive and have as many players as possible get playing time.

also speaking of U17 Euros and U19 Euros
seems like Germany loses their Elite Round bye to both tournaments starting the 2020 ones. Meaning next season/year.

Finally, I really hated Germany getting bye to Elite Round, for 2 reasons.
1-the kids need more competitive games rather than friendlies, more pressure and having more relevant games as a team. It's better they don't skip half the qualifiers and play friendlies instead.
2-with the increasing number of duals/triples per age group, more competitive games, means more chances to provisionally cap tie players.

    2020 U17 Euro means the 03 group
    2020 U19 Euro means the 01 group

Around the time frame of when Sukuta-Pasu was still a youth it felt like every striker prospect was failing.

Him, Manuel Fischer, Alexander Neumann, Mlapa, Pourie, Schieber, Thy, P.Hofmann, Parker, Yesil

Only Volland, Uth, Ginczek (when not injured) and Füllkrug emerged from the 89-94 age groups. Lasogga's career has been a rollercoaster ride and I can't say he's been fully a success story. Ducksch felt like he was lost too until last season but he hasn't convinced in 1BL yet
