So essentially they’re just really hard to find. In the app: Watch -> ESPN+ or Orginals -> Shows -> All

I’m not sure what path you’d take in a browser.

Bingo! How and where did you find those???

I spent a good 10 mins hunting around on ESPN+, regular ESPN. I was browsing on a laptop, not using an app.

Later when I have a bit more time, I'll try to find them myself. THANKS!

p.s. For the record THIS is what I have mostly been writing about... the easy (and hopefully long-term) availability of shows like this. I think someone else like @TJNash was fixated on spoilers and how we just all have to put up with them now that it's 2019. ;)

It's pretty easy to miss, TBF. Doesn't show up when you filter for "soccer", nor when you search for "FA cup".

This is also a good way to find the latest full episodes of ESPN FC, which no longer shows up in the soccer event/replay listing.

Yes, ESPN FC always seems to be the first show listed under "Shows" making it relatively easy to find. The FA Cup show was waaaayy down the list when I found it, even though it was only a day old.

And when you do a search for "FA Cup", Shaka Hislop's FA Cup memories pops-up which might be months if not years old, but the FA Cup highlights show that is 1 day old doesn't appear at all. o_O

Yeah that's the intuitive thing to do no? And exactly what I was doing, until I gave up.

Edit: So I retried "FA Cup" in WatchESPN's search bar et voila! Now it shows up... 3rd Rd Highlights (which I'm watching right now). Supporting the theory that it took @QPR Kevin H's tweet to get them to wake up and provide this show! Now let's see if it lasts more than a week.

However, they surely could use some help with their search/navigation system. After searching for "FA Cup" if you click "View All Results for FA Cup" you then get a rather odd set of results. Top of the screen has "Live and Upcoming" which includes 4 PRIOR games one of which was from the last round 2R. Below that is the "Replay" section which has 46 hits including the bulk of the 3R games and, to their credit, no spoilers... well done. No other games listed, i.e. no more 2R's online? Also odd that the 3R Review Show is #42 out of 46, when chronologically it should be #2, and odd that there are 2 NCAA hoops games in these FA Cup results, along with 4 Caribou Cup games. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers I guess. ;)

Oh, and if you try to navigate using their filtering system, it's really pretty bizarre. They only show you 1 day at a time. You can filter on "Soccer" and "Replay" at top, and those setting stick for your whole navigation session, but if you filter for the competition at right, that only works within any given day... once you click on the next day, that filter gets reset. But the big limitation of this screen's design is the 1-day-at-a-time paradigm... you just can't see past history at a glance... you have to keep clicking on previous or future days, wiping out your league filter each time. (Not to mention that the non-game shows like Preview/Review/Draw don't show up on these screens at all) Oh well, some day perhaps they will come to their senses.

Funny because, with ESPN's purchase of BAMTech they may have the best quality live streaming platform of any US provider. If they can just work out their navigation front-end they could be on to something!

I don't think anybody is proposing that there shouldn't be any sources of highlights that don't tell the score first. Some people here would be satisfied if 90 percent of highlights told the score first as long as they had one site they could rely on for highlights without telling the score first. Telling somebody that they should only be allowed to watch highlights that tell the score first is no more reasonable than requiring each game to only be available in one language and making people watch with commentary they can't understand. We just want it available both ways.

BTW, that FA provided highlights show is only 27 minutes long. And doesn't show all the matches or even all the goals from the featured matches. VPN into the BBC shows.

I am happy to see that espn+ has picked up the Scottish Cup (3 games shown this weekend):
Fri: 2:40 PM Cowdenbeath FC vs. Rangers
Sat: 12:10 PM Celtic vs. Airdrieonians FC
Sun 9:25 AM Heart of Midlothian vs. Livingston

Also I checked the next 3 weekends, and espn+ has upped their Eredivsie coverage to four matches per weekend, up from three.

How come no one mentioned that the Italian Super Cup would be on Espn2?

I recall it being advertised on ESPNFC, but maybe I'm imagining it.

I was surprised to see a spontaneous ESPN FC showing up on my DVR and it was a special Pregame for the Siuper Copa on ESPN 2.

I was like man, I would have recorded the game if I would have known earlier.

I didn't know Italy or any country would play a Super Cup in the middle of the season.

Because they have been moving some of them to the Middle East. Jeddah's probably a bit too toasty for an August match :) To Italian calcio officials, the exposure in different parts of the world is more valuable than disrpution it might cause. Also it's at the end of the league break - pairs well with warm weather training sites.

I really hate new ESPN website. Whenever I visit, the soccer spoilers including live results are right there in your face. Before, you could go for months without running into anything soccer related on their website.

If you're going there to watch replays, skip the front page and go here:

    http://www.espn.com/watch/schedule/

If you're going there for sports news, well there are plenty of other places to find it.

I know I (and others ) have mentioned this in various threads and older people can relate to this ....

....the spoiler thing does not bother me at all because I remember the days I had to go to the library to see the "latest" scores from Europe.

Moat Sports News outlets and publications did not even care to acknowledge soccer existed let alone mention a score.

Oh how times have changed. :p

OTOH, is anyone bored enough to watch a SuperCup match in January? I mean, in August we're a little desperate for football so maybe...

    In Italy, yeah probably.

    In Saudi Arabia, moreso.

In the US, probably not, but we're not the target audience.

The FA contract with ESPN is exclusively on +. Even the semis and final.
