People wanted to say Shurmur’s departure was the reason why the Vikings couldn’t pass protect but even Shurmur couldn’t fix the Giants o-line. I am willing to bet if you go back and look at the film, Kirk was taking more sacks than he should have. Zimmer is going to be under some extreme pressure next season if the Vikings don’t decide to cut ties now. They are wasting a Super Bowl window.

They can't cut ties. Kirk is fully guaranteed. This entire SB window is Kirk or die.

If you're gonna make that kind of power move on an offence that frankly wasn't necessarily terrible and for a guy you hired, it better work. Zimmer has now thrown multiple highly-respected OCs under the bus in three seasons. While neither Norv nor Defiilippo were covering themselves in glory, it doesn't bode well for the future. What very good OC candidate will wanna go to Minnesota and be Zimmer's scapeegoat for when Cousins doesn't play well? You called it, dude.

I mean, Hue Jackson did good things with Dalton in Cincinnati, it's not altogether far-fetched that he could help Cousins.

I think that's overstated. His first year under Hue wasn't good. The second year was better, but Dalton ultimately was better under Jay. The Vikings don't have a year to wait for Hue to get Kirk going.

@Emperor Adriano just to follow up on that question, I wasn't trying to say we should change the rookie wage scale, but rather say that the NFL should re-evaluate the QB market. Teams go out and PAY pretty average QBs when they come up for deals. Vikings did it with Kirk, we did it with Stafford. I mean those players aren't necessarily providing the kind of competitive advantage that a Brees or Brady are, yet they get paid like that. Even guys like Bradford or Glennon get paid doublw digits, but they aren't even as good as a high-end backup like Fitzpatrick. Teams cling too tightly to QBs that are slightly above average to below average when really they should be playing more hardball on them. That was my point.

Lmao well I guess someone else didn’t think you are crazy. I guess I didn’t see it before maybe because of the hair and eye color. I’ve had people say I look like Pique. Would be nice if that helped me bag Shakira lol.

Packers hire Titans OC Matt LaFleur to be their head coach and I'm pretty satisfied. I was worried they'd make a powerful hire, and this isn't it. When I was watching the Titans I was never like "wow, this offence is innovative" or "wow this coordinator is calling up great plays to get Mariota in rhythm". Thoughts @Emperor Adriano?

I hate this kind of analysis, but the Eagles got a bit of magic about them this year. Nick Foles is giving me Eli Manning postseason vibes.

Our O-Line has been shaky especially on the edge.. Armstead is injury prone. Might have to cut him loose. Brees is out here making receivers outside Thomas n Ginn. Eagles O-Line looks more cohesive.. Tbh they look like their championship team minus a RB and solid Secondary.

Saints have been playing like “shit” lately and the Eagles are hitting their stride, but like you said there are still holes to exploit.

Yea but I don't like our match up on their receivers. Apple and Kurt Coleman have been trash.. Lattimore and Marcus have balled out. Tate and Agholor might have a field day if Saints don't get at Nick early and ring his bell.

Playing in the Super Dome is gonna will the Saints to a dub tho. Its different when you play in New Orleans.
