As much promise as Tyler has shown on the field, I've always been even more impressed with him off of it. Seems quite smart in interviews and has always had maturity and professionalism well beyond his years. Outside of innate talent, things like this matter a lot when you're trying to make it at the highest levels. He's a great role model for our young prospects and I think he'd make a terrific captain in the future as well!

If you listen closely, he said that her grandparents are German. And she's in the USA, so she's likely a 2nd or 3rd generation German. I don't have an Instagram, so I can't do the stalking required to confirm this, but I'm 90 percent certain this isn't a girl that he just started dating since he arrived in Leipzig a week ago.
I read this somewhere recently. They were dating before he left for Germany (no idea how long). Her grand parents are German.
