So it seems like we got some interesting CF prospects. Park Jungin, that Augsburg guy, that u17 guy and Jeon Sejin.
Well, as sad as it may sound, the reality is that Quique was never going to step foot in Korea for less money, and this only further proves Kim Pan-gon's statement regarding Quique showing little to no interest in managing our national team as well. Which is quite funny at the same time considering he's the type of journeyman who'd only manage teams that are within reach of his country, and he's expressed how he didn't want to be away from his girlfriend and children, but now he's heading to China which is pretty far away so, money talks in the end.
"fuuuck fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck" When the best NT player gets injured this is the way you guys normally express your feelings. I am kinda nervous and feel it may happen because Son is in too good a form. If that happens don't say anything. Just keep cool. There are like 6 games left and the chances of that happening are not that small. Potch tends to overwork players in good form and it increases the chances of injury. P.S. The best scenario for Potch is to work Son to death and get 100 percent out of him and Son gets lightly injured on the last game so that he skips the Asian Cup. I am not saying he is mean enough to conciously force it but he may do it subconciously. Also you are really naive if you think Park Jooyoung was really injured in 2011.
Basically, you can't choose the severity of your injury. Pochettino won't take the risk of injuring him maybe for 6 months just because of 3 league matches.
5 more games to go. Tough schedule. I hope he picks up another yellow on Jan 1 so that he can come to AC after 8th.
I was watching Korea-Germany WC match highlights on Youtube today. Still gives me goosebumps, even if we didn't advance.
What's going to be our starting 11 assuming everyone's healthy and we are in finals playing against japan?
Interestingly enough, Kim Young-gwon will be the captain for the Asian Cup until Son rejoins the team. IMO, the captain's armband should've gone back to Ki, but I have no problems with Kim Young-gwon being the captain, after all he is the next player I feel that deserves the armband. At this point, I think Ki is tired of being captain, so he probably told Bento to give it to someone else but him.
i think having an asian league player as captain could be more beneficial for the collective squad, as the majority of the squad would relate and connect with him more than a euro league player /armchair psychologist
Do you think Kim Young Gwon can captain a side at an away match on a cold rainy Tuesday night at Stoke?
Hong Chul returned to training today after recovering from sprained left ankle for the first time since the start of Korea’s camp for the Asian Cup, but both Kim Jin-su and Na Sang-ho rested with slight knee pain. Tbh I'm more worried facing the Philippines rather than china. It's a plus that Neil Etheridge won't be able to play agaisnt us.
https://www.foxsportsasia.com/footb...afc-asian-cup-2019-contenders-korea-republic/ emerging players such as goalkeeper Cho Hyun-woo, winger Lee Seung-woo and forward Hwang Hee-chan ensure that the Taegeuk Warriors have no shortage of quality.
Only Shibasaki and Muto are struggling to get minutes. The other top 5 league players in the AC squad are among the top 10 at their respective clubs in playing time.
2 players stood out the most from AFF Championship. Daisuke Sato, their left back, and John-Patrick Strauß, their defensive midfielder. Their team looked a lot worse vs Vietnam in the semis as both players were recalled by their clubs in Europe after they clinched their spot in the semis.
Woah strange callups, didn't think the usual dudes like kagawa/okazaki/the spain bois/hasebe/honda wouldn't make it
